Kim Jong-un hasn't been seen for a reason and that reason is probably that he is dead or close to it.

I assume it must be an assassination or a coup of some sort, the chances of him dying on the operating table (or it being botched that badly that he's basically dead) seems slim to me.

I agree, if he was in good condition they would have shown him to be in good condition... if he was in even OK condition they'd have dressed him up for a short appearance to make it seem like he was fine. The lack of information is informative, on this occasion.

Also SK for diplomatic reasons have to say that they believe the official NK line, until it's proven otherwise.

Regarding assassination, it's possible but there has been some suggestion that the surgeon was probably under armed guard and had been threatened to not **** up... and thus, was panicked and shaking and ****ed up :umm2:. I also read a rumour that he had a heart attack at an earlier date and was supposed to have the surgery immediately, but it was delayed for too long and he had another more serious heart attack before surgery.

It's very possible but I dunno, from what's been said, Un seemed like more of a psychopath than the other Kims (it's like comparing serial killers, I know) so I think it's possible he became a problem to others in positions of power around him. I could see others potentially preferring Yo who is apparently a bit more level headed than her brother, probably still a rampaging psycho mind, but probably less likely to have people eaten alive by dogs.

I wouldnt bet against his sister making a coup as it's really the only chance she has to take charge otherwise his eldest child will take charge as soon as he old enough

yes lack of information does say something, that NK wants to keep it quiet, but the vile media worldwide can't just shut up

keep it quiet because yes i believe the surgery thing, Kim needs to recover and best way to do so is to keep him out of the picture there for a while

and this more exposes people falling for silly clickbait gossip :idc:

This would fly completely contrary to 70+ years of NK politics, though.

Very possible, she definitely has the DNA for such things but I'd bet on it being a move from a military or government figure, given how Un's spent the last few years executing figures to replace them with his own.

user104658 27-04-2020 01:13 PM

If there was a coup it'd definitely be military, the interesting part will be the leanings of the figures that take over. If they show signs of being more co-operative with the West than the Kim regime then... well... :umm2:. That would suggest something.

Nicky, he literally feeds people to dogs while they're still alive, he executes people with chemical flamethrowers and used an artillery gun against his own uncle, he also had one of his brothers assassinated.

He deserves to rot in hell.

i don't think you can apply any kind of logic when it comes to NK.

It may be a ploy by the big man to flush out potential rebels. Who knows. Anyway, it's difficult to see how things could be any worse with a new leader. If they try to nuke someone, they will be obliterated and that will be the end of that, if they carry on as usual, it will be more of the same.

It's been suggested that his sister would be willing to break down the border with the south and attack with millions of Army behind it but it's just speculation just now but yea she isnt a nice person

They'd have to mobilize land forces in advance which would be seen. SK is US backed... My feeling is that NK land forces would be decimated by US non-nuclear strategic missiles before it got a few miles over the border. The Korean DMZ exists for a reason.

It would take a crazy leader to go to war but I think the sister is that crazy leader but they will be backed by China and Russia and possibly Iran

I wonder if Trump has anything to do with it which is why he wanted to meet him to "say hello"

Beso 27-04-2020 04:39 PM

Are we all just sitting indoors waiting on nuclear war?

If China would support NK in invading SK, they would have already invaded.

But but bit. ..what if...what if..

What if China and nk are in this corona together..they have us all sitting in our houses while their communities are doing who knows what!

We ares sitting ducks in that scenario...if they have evacuated millions.

You can't evacuate from a full scale Nuclear war unfortunately Parmy, there's nowhere to run to. In fact you'd bet better off dying in one of the first blasts than of radiation poisoning, cancer or starvation in the following months.

Happy times :joker:

Nicky91 27-04-2020 04:57 PM

Putin wouldn't support NK, i mean he's more smart than vilifying Russia even more

like Russia has already been making alliances now in europe (with Italy for example by offering help in this current crisis)

China and NK i can see work together, i mean they got a thing in common both are run by vile evil corrupt governments

however if NK attacks south-korea, it will immediately get USA against them since they were pro Korea peace treaty

also kim's sister will only be interim leader anyway, so i doubt military will allow her to go to war with other countries, and i hope military choose a good leader who wants best for NK and relations between them and other countries to improve

I hope my hands on my cock and not a steering wheel if the blast gets me.

No doubt I will be receiving my biggest win from corals as it hits, my face half smiling half wincing for the aliens to find..these new plastic notes still intact in my crispy grasp.

Well its going to be one or the other... Either the military will end the Kim dynasty and appoint a new military dictatorship, or they'll maintain the family line and someone will be appointed temporarily (possibly the sister) as an interim placeholder until one of Jong-un's children are old enough to take over.

bots 27-04-2020 05:04 PM

NK can't nuke us yet, they dont have the range, so we are all right. Japan and some of the islands off the USA coast are the vulnerable areas
