I’m unaware what happened in the end, but I think 14 threads on individual cases of police brutality (which is probably the biggest non corona issue the world is facing right now, a life changing event) is more productive than Kate opening up 20 threads to try and fill the sidebar or Michael posting all the letters of the alphabet as different letters, but again I’m not sure if them threads were all deleted

It's clearly one rule for one and another for someone else and it has been for ages. There's people you desperately protect on this forum and they get away with murder for us all to see. It's right there, especially in SD. I could argue reasons for other members to be banned over the ones that ended up banned over the last 24 hours.

Dude, considering the crap you throw at mods/admin continuously (mostly Josy tbh), if they wanted to be as bad as you make them out to be, they could find a reason to get rid in a heartbeat.

It's a dying forum, so maybe James, Josy, Matt, and Niamh can set up an on call rota so you can hit them up on speed dial to share your urgent forum feedback.

I'm not saying no more questions why do you jump to conclusions so much? I'm saying weve spent plenty time answering queries in here yet some come straight in and say they dont get replies, they get ignored etc and also for me personally ive spent enough of my time tonight answering them.

I dont mind answering and replying to queries when they are put across respectively but I wont waste my time answering posts that are straight out abuse towards us or unfounded accusations.

There has been a lot of tension on here and deservedly so. 2020 has been one hell of a bad year. The videos we have had to witness have been the last straw and we cant help but feel angry

It just doesnt help when there are members here puropsely trying to wind up the situation, none of he situation is right, it is hideous, its not funny and its not big or clever

I think the main tension is caused by how often these members are allowed to wind people up and when it is questioned or people passionately give their views its hard to get our point across without getting angry

I used to enjoy this forum but at the moment it feels like a battle ground :(

Not been keeping up with the threads too much, been super busy - but it would be horrendous if some of those bans/infractions were related to showing support for BLM when there’s a specific member out the continuously baiting the forum and fighting anything and anyone for the sake of it.

I'm not sure if you've missed what's been going on the last few months but we were in the midst of a pandemic, in my real life I work for a company that are classed as key workers so have been run off our feet with work which is possibly just a tad more important than me missing a few forum posts IMHO

The other mods and admin also have personal lives that dont revolve around the forum.

I think what needs to be done about the bans is to unban Qua, 3 weeks ban for talking about BLM is really disgusting. All you keep saying is ‘oh he spammed’ ‘oh he did this, he did that’ but all he did was talk about something important

also may ah add sleleen litrally didn't spam? ah was watching and she posted ONE (1) post saying "black lives matter" and was banned for spam

Josy has stated she finds typing differently much worse than a plethora of racist posts in a BLM thread, so I don't think you're going to get anywhere with this one unfortunately.

One person in this thread complaining about mods not doing there jobs had the nerve to constantly attack me and call me obsessive over my beliefs in BLM

He posted also about a million racist things Trump has said and done in someone else's chat thread, and also apparently (I didn't see) was insulting towards posters.
