I mean, you can’t say other people refuse to listen to the other side when you yourself do that exact thing, it’s called projection, I’ll happily criticise the Labour Party and the politicians within, you however have shown no inclination to do anything but blindly follow and support anything the Tories say or do, so maybe have a word with yourself before accusing other people of bias, tah

By all means, give us the full story that portrays denying children free meals in a better light.

This is a decent Tory, still a Tory, but not as bad as the other Tories.

Good on her, at least one of them has a conscience.

I just don't see how anyone could defend this, well actually I can, blind defense of their 'side' is common for people that can't see the forest for the trees. It's just another example of people treating politcs like sport and supporting their 'team' no matter what.

If labour had done this, the same people who are defending this would likely go mental but the difference would be that everyone else who is outraged will still be outraged. I wish people could see beyond their tory tinted glasses.

I have listened, and I have also listened to the other side, there is the difference, and you can say I blindly follow all you like it does not make it true,I dont bother saying much in here now as its absolutely pointless, once again point proven, so enjoy your slagging of at anyone or anything Tory:wavey:

I don't think she can see things like that. She sees this as Tory defeating Labour and nothing more. **** the children, I guess, when her side is 'winning.'

The Slim Reaper 22-10-2020 10:55 AM

I'm sure the same folks will be singing along to "feed the world, let them know it's Christmas time" when it comes in the radio.

Liam- 22-10-2020 10:56 AM

The ‘stop sending money abroad, look after our own kids first!’ crew are awfully quiet

That's the only possible other side I agree.

The blanket support for anything no matter how wrong, not just bad, this government does.
Is unbelievable.

Had Labour or Lib Dems or other parties voted against this extra period of free meals for children.
I'd have been joining you to condemn that from them too.

Not just making it a political point.
Plus had the Cons decided to carry this free meal policy on a few weeks and other parties MPs voted it down.

The uproar would have been massive claiming those MPs were heartless.
Plus it would be right to do so.

It is then in the same way right in my view to condemn a heartless unnecessary and cruel act from the government in power.

Jake there really is no point in debating in here as some just use it to try and belittle people for having different views.

Liam- 22-10-2020 11:31 AM

You know you’ve ****ed up when even Nigel Farage can manage to sound like a normal, decent human being

Not at all. If you have an opposing opinion on the topic I’d much rather hear it. I don’t understand how anyone could have a counter argument for making sure children get fed, so I’m open to listening to what it is.

I will Pm you my thoughts Jake, I know you are very accommodating to others opinions but not everyone is.

Not sure that's fair kaz. I think we'd all like to see what the other side of the argument is, which is what the thread is about. I don't think anyone has got personal with you, unless I've missed it.
