Sadly his Grandmother passed away on friday but they are going to keep it from him until he leaves...
She was in hospital with Dementia so he would have known her time was short and requested if anything happened to her to not tell him until he left.

That’s sad. My thoughts to his family.

Keep it from him until after he leaves.
What if he's there until the very end.

That's awful.

I'd have wanted to know if not imminently before as close to only minutes after my Grandparents died.

Whose awful decision is this not to tell him?

It must be either his own decision or his families decision, there’s no way the producers could determine that.

Part of me feels like he’s going to be the second person eliminated today

I assume it was his own and his brother has gone along with it maybe? . He must have his reasons and the fact he will of known she was poorly, she was 93 too .

I'm not going to judge and say "awful decision" , but yeah it's definitely sad and I think we'd all like to know Still . as he'll have to grieve much later after the show/ when he gets eliminated .

Apparently they knew it was expected and made the decision as a family beforehand that if it happened they wouldn't tell him. His Grandad was the one who made the final decision. It will be harder for Ant and Dec as they will have to interview him knowing that he will be told the sad news later after they have finished. Sad news

Cherie 30-11-2020 07:16 PM

It was his decision which is fair enough, think it’s a bit grim that it’s public knowledge before he knows though

That's fair enough I guess.

I'd hate to find out like that however, even if it was expected.
Then that's my thinking.

Really sad to hear of his Grandmother's passing.

Vanessa 30-11-2020 09:10 PM

Yes. We live to fight another day

joeysteele 30-11-2020 09:14 PM

Great result.
I like A J, glad he's done this well.

I like that he doesn't play up to the cameras and he's just being himself.

fully agree :clap2:

i do admit i had a little scare as for ''double elimination'' and also with the news regarding his grandmother's death

but as for that, will be emotionally difficult for A & D to deliver that news upon his exit, but for now i am happy he is still in

i already knew from the start he didn't suck up to the camera's that made him invisible at first maybe, but being yourself is better than pretending to be someone that you are not, or pretending to be perfect
