Oh god, they're gonna give the win to the racist, aren't they?

That talent show was dreadful, and the bottom 2 was kind of senseless. It really should have been Karen and Art in the bottom as they both had terrible routines (plus the way Karen's headpiece didn't sit evenly on her head bothered the **** out of me). Scarlet was, unfortunately, the best while Kita and Elektra being in the bottom made no sense. Kita's outfits in the performance wasn't great but the quick changes were really good while Elektra's routine was great in comparison to almost everyone else's performance. The riggamorris is strong this season.

I'm just glad it's over next week.

Just watched it as well... I have no idea what Art was doing but she was presenting it well and did seem to have a comedic eye about her performance. I appreciate what Elektra did but I think it was, essentially, just a drama student performance that I've seen a million times before, and 999,000 of them were probably better than hers.

I'd have had the bottom as Karen and Elektra. Scarlet was the right winner, sadly ("you never see drag queens on pole"... um.... Season 2, and Shea Coulee would like a word).

Even without all of the racism and the social media backlash I cannot fathom why Scarlet would be the choice for a winner here... everything that comes out of her mouth in confessionals is absolutely dripping with venom and ****ing conceit. She is, without a doubt, the nastiest and most entitled ****ing asshole this show has ever seen. At least the other cocky queens have something impressive to back up their mouth (Shannel, Alexis Michelle, Violet Chachki...)

I'm happy Elektra is gone because I tired of her victim edit in Week 2... but this season has been an utter chore to watch and unless Kita wins, it's probably the worst of all of them. Even a Kita win wouldn't see it escape from bottom 3 (along with Canada1 and US13).

…I caught up also with the last episode….I loved the runway…:lovedup:…all of them were sensational, it felt more as if they were taking part in a spectacular Broadway show or something, they were so fabulous….Raven is just so fabulously drop dead gorgeous and she’s also so beautifully supportive as well…:love:…

…those queens have so much admiration and love for their Mama Ru, they’re just completely in awe of her…she’s everything they aspire to be…it really would be nice to feel her support for them more, to feel that she has personal connections with ‘her girls’…I’m just not feeling that at all and I used to feel it so much in her werkroom chats….

…Elektra…:lovedup:…in general I’m loving the lipsyncs, there was a lot of energy in that one…

I haven't watched since like ep 3/4 but ive seen nothing but negative reviews about this series :umm2: I wonder if they'll do a season 2

Elektra was the only possible good choice for a winner out of all 10 queens.

Well, I woke up super early so decided to watch it right away.
Thank God it's over and Kita won. I usually think whoever has the best track record should win but seriously not this time for so many reasons.
Scarlet is insufferable and Ru clearly didn't want the embarassment.

Kita is actually a breath of fresh air. She's so amusing, fun, loving, campy and sweet. I have liked all of her looks and did good enough to justify this win.

When the cast was revealed, we thought Art or Karen were the biggest contenders and I feel like it has been such a wasted opportunity for both of them. Seriously, they did not live up to the expectations and were underwhelming throughout (apart from the looks).

The only good things about this season were Anita, Kita, Ru's makeup and looks and Rhys. It's a shame because they all were campy and funny in the first couple of episodes but it got mean and very bitchy as the show progressed. And not "bitchy" in a good shady classic RPDR way. Just plain mean. Again, a wasted opportunity.

Kita is a typical first week boot on a normal season haha.

Anyway the right person won.

Thank god it's over. Kita is probably the weakest winner out of all the seasons but she was the only real choice and I'm not mad since she was the most likable left.

If this ****show gets a second season, they really need to overhaul things. Firstly, Ru and Michelle cannot be permanent judges, they don't know what they're talking about when it comes to Australia and New Zealand and they didn't often get the humour or the drag. Plus Ru basically forgiving Scarlet even though it's not her place to do so was gross. If Wow could get their heads out of their arses then Courtney Act would be the best option to take over.

However, most importantly, they need a more diverse cast to reflect the diverse areas covered, especially considering how much racism has marred this season to the point it was basically unwatchable.

The only two positives of this season has been Rhys and the fact there were no scripted acting challenges. Scripted challenges are terrible and acting challenges work best when it's the queens writing the script.

with one solo win you would think so, but Yvie still holds that title with one tied win (with Scarlet Envy) :hee: if we ignore the fact she bodied that Queens Everywhere performance

I'd probably give Yvie the edge in terms of performance and looks though, but yes.

I know Kita isn’t the best winner out there but at least she’s more like likeable than Yvie :shrug: She really was the only option and tbh I’m not mad at it. I like her message, her campy side and just a fun drag Queen. I really like her final outfit.

Btw, that lip sync song was not finale worthy but it goes on trend with messed up things this season.

I'm not dragging Kita, btw, she was my pick to win as well out of that top 4, but she isn't as strong as most other winners.

Anita was robbed, I'm also still confused as to why they brought back Art when she was pretty subpar all season.

Art came back because she has a series on WoW presents plus so they really told Ru to not mess up with her again :skull:
And why tf Karen was safe after blowing into one sad ass balloon :skull:

Kita, Anita, Electra & Maxi were the top four we deserved.

Thank god it’s over, thrilled Kita won and I think producers knew she was the only option at the end. I’ll be surprised if it’s renewed for a second season tbh; it’s probably just above AS1 for the worst season.

It started with loads of promise but yeah I agree with the previous comments, the overall tone of the show changed to just being pretty mean around the halfway mark. The Kiwi queens kept the season alive for the best part and I did like Rhys/a lot of the runways but that’s about as far as the positives go.

pretty poor finale all in all... none of their 'best drag' looks wowed me (Scarlet's was particularly unimpressive... and Karen's was too panto).

oh and that was possibly the most nauseating and excruciating hour of Ru and Michelle thinking they're ****ing life coaches imaginable. So, so ****ing audacious and disgusting the way they just pluck apart people's intimate details for reality TV with absolutely no intention of reconciling with them down the line.

…I liked Kita so I’m really pleased for her…:lovedup:…sad that she’s Queen of a season that won’t have as fond memories as it could have, as in not considered a great season…but I didn’t get the feeling through this that Ru had a huge interest in the queens…
