It showed originalality though, a little known White Stripes song isn't something you would expect.

I was happy with it, I felt it was the best I could find to fit both the dance and the theme of Halloween.

Happy with my score but I'm confused by the point deduction from TS [emoji28] Not "Halloween Horror"? Horror is Horror is Horror [emoji35]

Strictly Jake 31-10-2021 11:23 AM

Liam has chosen the theme for week 2 to be British. So all the songs have to be by British artists.

Livia will be joining us on the cast and her professional partner is Gorka

Strictly Jake 31-10-2021 11:23 AM

I will send out the dances soon

Vanessa 31-10-2021 11:42 AM

Ok. Will try something more original next time

:nono: It's not ghosts, witches and skellingtons! I'd even stretch to iconic "slasher" horror (Scream, Halloween itself, etc.) falling into the halloween "feel" but to me Saw is more psychological thriller (the first one) or gore porn (the sequels) so didn't quite give me those Halloweeny vibes :hmph:.

It was still a good score considering some of the others I gave out!

Liam- 31-10-2021 12:16 PM

Only gone and screwed myself with this theme haven’t I :joker:

Little Ghost reminds me of when my son was younger. It was on the film Paranorman which he loved and he would dance around the room to the song.

Just for the memories, its a 10 from me

Did your son look like a hillbilly dancing around a camp fire or did he look like the master of the Viennese Waltz?

Somebody tell me the tempo/speed of all the ballrom dances from slowest to fastest, because ballroom dancing isn't my thing.

Put me on frozen water and I'm a natural. A two time champion.

Just type "the Hearts songs" into the YouTube search and click on the one that says "20 Jambo classics"
