harrods and Selfridges are on a par price wise ... and Selfridges is Debenhams (or was) it gets very difficult to follow who owns what after a while.

Harrods is ok, it's an experience that you wont get anywhere else. Apart from that there are some seriously expensive properties, the science museum and some parkland in Kensington

The science museum is brilliant

Vanessa 21-04-2022 02:56 PM

Most of the museums in London are free. So if you have time it's definitely worth going.

Hampton Court Palace is also amazing.
A beautiful place.

Ooh I forgot about that I did think about that especially because my wife loves bridgerton and a lot of it was filmed there

Vanessa 21-04-2022 02:59 PM

I'm going to Italy in August to see some family.

Omg she would love it!
If your going to see a major attraction is always better to book in advance.
When I want to go I book online.
It's cheaper as well.

The Tower of London was always really busy when I went.
They do recreations of battle in costumes that are really funny. :joker:
And you get to really explore inside.
It's a fascinating place for sure.

Yes, they have big store near the odeon. It’s got everything m&m themed plus sweeties. The kids and you will love it.

Vanessa 21-04-2022 03:04 PM

If you like flowers and plants there's also Kew Gardens.
The place is massive!

Vanessa 21-04-2022 03:07 PM

And don't forget Hamleys

There's the Lego store as well opposite.

12 Oil Drum Lane, Shepherds Bush.

Vanessa 21-04-2022 03:17 PM

I usually go to Leicester Square when I want to go to the cinema.
That's an independent one that I really like.

But if its august yoh are coming then you may tie in with the notting hill carnival starting the 27th August to 29th.

Then I would recommend notting hill over anything else.

You don't go to London to have a burger. You go for pie and mash and jellied eels.
