Calderyon 30-11-2022 12:56 PM

Australia v Denmark 3PM

Tunisia v France 3PM

Nicky91 30-11-2022 01:11 PM

feeling nervous :(

idk what the best approach for the socceroos would be, be careful i'd say, proper defending, and counter offensives might be best strategy here, a point is enough, and we all know denmark so far this tournament haven't been in their most top form either, also not very clinical in front of goal, so stay close on top of the danish forwards, look for any gaps in their midfield, defence and try to break through

France should do well against Tunisia in their current form, even if they're already through, i can still see them winning because basically they always want to go for the win

those 3 points for us against tunisia were oh so important and pls don't let them be for nothing, i love Graham being such a passionate manager as well

Beso 30-11-2022 01:39 PM

Giroud
Rabiot

Mandanda also got plenty of experience

Coman from the start is also decent

they still have Varane anyway again, his second starting 11 place of the world cup now

Camavinga, Tchouameni are also huge supertalents

and a new zealand ref, so pls help out your friends the aussies here too by gifting a penalty to france :fc:

Nicky91 30-11-2022 01:45 PM

a fact about Mandanda especially
Quote:

Mandanda spent most of his professional career with Marseille, making over 600 appearances across all competitions in two spells with the club, and was voted Ligue 1 Goalkeeper of the Year five times.

Since his debut in 2008, Mandanda has represented France at six international tournaments: four UEFA European Championships (2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020) and three FIFA World Cups (2010, 2018, 2022), winning the tournament in 2018.
so yeah Lloris might be the no.1 goalie, but he is not an unknown either, just proves how much of a worldclass goalie Lloris basically is, if he keeps a veteran like Steve behind him as the second choice

bots 30-11-2022 01:56 PM

as expected its the france B team

We should have done that to give the ‘chosen’ ones a rest , protect them from injury plus give the fringe players a huge boost
