I do love that everybody's turning down performing at it. Flop Charles keeps flopping. Justice for Diana.

Maybe the 3 Degrees will turn up .. he was fond of them back in the day

Yes President Biden off to Northern Ireland
around the 11th of April.

Sod going the King Charles gig

i'm thinking one of Charles's first events after coronation will be a trip to Liverpool, behind the scenes for Eurovision

our king Willem-Alexander did do the same back in 2021 :hee: when he got to meet up with most of the production crew and got to stand on the famous eurovision stage

from May 1st, it is all very festive anyway in Liverpool, all the way until May 14th, with quite a stunning schedule of loads of events

and in light of Charles showing love to Ukraine he really should go on that backstage tour of the M&S Bank Arena

There's only one of them left now. Cyrille Regis and Laurie Cunningham are both sadly no longer with us. There's only Brendon Batson left.

Kate! 04-04-2023 10:21 PM

That horsefaced old cow will NEVER be my Queen.

bots 05-04-2023 07:08 AM

in the general scheme of things, they wont be king and queen for long. It wouldn't surprise me if Charles abdicates within 5 years. I would expect them to quickly ramp up Wills ready to take over. The reason I say this is that Charles has no records he can break, he is not a young man and I think he will prefer to give William a good run at it

I’m leaving the country for this ****e. In fact I’m leaving the continent

I think you could be right...

Not happy with Queen Camilla, think it is disrespectful....why couldn't she just be the consort like Philip....that is a mistake

Livia 05-04-2023 01:36 PM

I am delighted for Camilla. The Queen Mother was a queen not a consort, George V's wife was Queen Mary not a consort. It's only upsetting Diana fans as far as I can see.

I think in view of the Queen being 70 years on the throne its not really appropriate, not really ready for a Queen, and the invitation says the coronation of both of them I thought it was just him was being crowned....its all a bit much given the times we are in

bots 05-04-2023 02:19 PM

I don't think her being named queen will help the cause of royalty and they should care about that

rusticgal 05-04-2023 03:10 PM

Having been a big fan of Diana...it took me a while to warm to Camilla. I think she kept herself respectfully in the background.
However, I do somehow feel taking on the title Queen Camilla as opposed to Queen Consort seems a bit disrespectful

The only good thing about it is its going to real piss Harry orf...

joeysteele 05-04-2023 03:40 PM

I'm surprised they've gone this far.
However if it's what he wishes then it's his right to dictate it.
There's no doubt Charles is extremely happy married to Camilla.

For any still strong Princess Diana supporters and sympathisers then it will be a very bitter pill to swallow however.
Then again Charles nor the other Royals really had NO real respect for Princess Diana.
She was in my opinion used to get heir/s to the throne.
Once she'd done her duty that was that.

I just think myself out of respect for Diana's memory and the tragic death she suffered.
Camilla Queen consort, as the late Queen wanted was more than enough.

Cherie 05-04-2023 03:57 PM

Can someone post the invitation that says their 'majesties' :fist:
