From what I’ve read .. Spacey is just not a very nice person ..

Pity .. I loved some of his earlier movies

BBC News Text :
[The i turns its attention to allegations against
veteran actor Kevin Spacey.
Fellow actor Ruari Cannon, who has waived his
anonymity in an exclusive interview
with the paper, has alleged Mr Spacey touched
him inappropriately at a theatre party.
Mr Spacey has not responded to the claims
laid out in the i, but has publicly denied
fresh allegations of inappropriate behaviour
ahead of a new Channel 4 documentary
due to be released next week.]

Thank You, LT

for making the effort to
post the full interview

Admitting to "being too handsy" in a recorded interview is wild and will affect any future court cases against him. Silly mistake (from any civil lawsuit perspective) :umm2:.

Apparently he doesn't have any. Which seems unlikely of course. He probably means he only has a few million left / not much in the way of assets, maybe various debts, he'll of course still have plenty of dollars in his current account. He's probably bringing in more than an average salary each month in royalties alone. "Broke" when you're a several-decades-long Hollywood celeb and "actually broke" are very different things.

he is looking for sympathy when he has been responsible for ruining peoples lives

No he is broke and has just had his family home foreclosed

He stated in the interview he has no money and has legal bills in the millions of pounds range that he owes

He was cleared in the courts of any wrongdoing

He’s fabulously wealthy and probably has cash stashed abroad as well - he’s starred in some amazing and extremely successful movies

a lot of his money is probably squirreled away to hide it from any law suit damages that are likely to come in.

He's "broke" because he owes tens of millions in civil damages awarded from him to his accusers via the courts - both things cannot be true at once. Either he's bankrupt because of the civil damages he's been ordered to pay, or he was cleared in the courts. If he was cleared of any wrongdoing in the courts, then there's no reasonable explanation for him being bankrupt?

He's bankrupt because the total of those debts (that he has been ordered to pay by the courts, because he was NOT cleared of all wrongdoing) outstrips what he hold in assets.

This is not the same thing as living on cheap noodles. He will still be eating well and have a roof over his head, and a solid monthly income. Bankrupt does not mean cash-poor... lots of bankrupt businessmen eating very nice dinners every night. It does, however, mean banks foreclosing on assets and property - which is why he's losing his home. Like I said, their "broke" and normal folks "broke" doesn't mean the same thing. You're not going to see him in a cheap suit or flying back to the US in economy class.

He lost a top-tier Hollywood career and $70 million+ fortune because he couldn't keep his paws to himself. I imagine he is quite upset, yes.
