I couldn't care less if they accept a plastic award or not in all honesty. They are no longer working Royals so ca give awards/ accept awards all they want. The media in this country feed the madness, if they didn't report it, it would have passed and none of us would have know or cared.

What they do has no bearing on this story really though, my point was I hoped it would not overshadow Kate and Williams USA trip which it obviously is doing at the moment but hopefully it will be resolved by the resignation and Kennsington Palaces statement of condemnation. This incident today, not M &H.

Philip was from a long past generation (like the elderly lady susan). A lot different from a young man like Harry's racism.

The press are always going to report on H&M antics as they sell, and H&M's PR push all they are doing to the hilt. So I do care, as do many, that the couple undermine the good work and reputations of the Royals, especially abroad, with their malicious agenda's. It's fine if you don't care, it's not compulsory after all. :hee:
I can't see that this elderly lady's words will affect William and Kate's trip, she's 83, from a different generation and not family. Now THAT incident is overblown madness...

Is leopard print considered African attire?

Leopard print is the most popular print in Africa. Women typically wear it on different occasions such as weddings, graduations, and the like.

the woman is a race baiter

Yes it does.

This a multicultural population, apparently. Why would I think anything else?

How far in did you tune out? A minute. Not even that long I bet.

Please define race baiting?

She does seem to be making rather a meal of it. I bet she was rubbing her hands with glee when she realised how much she could milk from it.

I'm sure "Dr" Shola will get several TV appearances out of this to crow on and on.

Of course we have not got Lady Susan's account of what happened

So nothing more than a loaded one sided account reeking of bias

:umm2:

Why have Williams team chosen to publically condemn it then? I agree, she's not family, as I stated above, but he and his team obviously feel strongly enough to put a statement out.

I'm not commenting any more on Harry and Meghan as they have nothing to do with this news article. I agree she is from another generation but don't agree that gives you a free pass. My dad is the same generation, if I thought he said something that could be taken offensively by someone, I would call him out on it......and he wants me to do that.

It's just making a mountain out of a molehill. So a member of staff said something stupid and didn't drop it ... okay? It doesn't mean Working Royals need to take time out to talk about it.

The 2nd bit; is that your definition of race baiting?

You haven't answered the question

.

Imo, it's because they have to be particularly careful now how they react given H&M's accusations of structural racism in the Royal family instead of the previous 'never explain' or waiting until they have the full picture.
I doubt William even had a conversation with Lady Susan to hear her side.

jet 30-11-2022 09:36 PM

Apart from this lady accusing the Royal family of ‘domestic violence’ against Meghan in 2021, this is a tweet from her earlier this year:

Sistah Space

Harry and Meghan won’t be allowed on the balcony?
They’re in a completely different category to Andrew. He’s linked to sexual crimes.
Harry married and had children with a black woman. An all exclusively white balcony.
The only black people banned. RACISM.

Why did this lady go to the Palace function if she believed the Royals were domestic abusers and racists? Did she make a meal out of an elderly lady questioning her in just a clumsy manner? I have my suspicions.
