there is a limit on how long H & M can keep trashing the royal family, it's old news now. The other point is that now the queen has gone, most people couldn't give a crap what is said against the royal family. They don't command anything close to the loyalty that people felt for the queen

This was always my understanding of it aswell, of course they'll always be in the public eye. But they just want a bit of control back.
