Nah sorry, so many decisions went against us. Both were clear pens.

The decision was NOT correct. We should've have a other penalty. Sniff.

Better team won.

Swan 10-12-2022 08:08 PM

Did they though? England had more chances. I feel it was 50/50. Deserved ET

Disagree completely. It was daylight robbery.

If the Referee wasn't so criminally awful, we'd be going to extra time right now.

Although being fair to France, I do honestly believe that they just beat the toughest opponents for themselves in the competition.

I honestly don't think that the other three teams will get the Referee getting his Pom Poms out as much as we did today.

rusticgal 10-12-2022 08:10 PM

I’m sorry but the ref was a disgrace…

He was, not excuses, neutrals hate England so of course they're say otherwise. But it was pretty clear.

UserSince2005 10-12-2022 08:15 PM

So glad this is done. Thank you France.

It is true.

VAR even failed to give the penalty that we should've had in the first half, plus France's first goal should've been disallowed because of Saka being fouled beforehand.

The officiating was completely biased towards France.

Kane's fault.

He got a chance to equalize the match and missed spectacularly.

Zizu 10-12-2022 08:18 PM

Look we had a far , far stronger bench ..

Why not bring on 4 subs .. fresh legs when it was 1:1 ?

They had no decent subs to bring on …

He was on the periphery if everything.
Dembele was far better on the night as I suggested before the game

Greizman ran the show

Exactly.

If people actually judge the match on what actually happened and not on which team that they like more, they'll see that England should've had a penalty in the first half, and France's first goal should've been disallowed because of the foul on Saka up the other end of the pitch.

These are facts of what happened in the game, and considering France only won narrowly, to say that it didn't make a difference, or that France deserved the win is just not true.

Very well said.

there are contentious decisions in every match, it is football. Players and fans need to accept that not everyone sees marginal things the same way

Yeah, all what you say is true. People get fed up with the hype surrounding England in British Isles. But at least one team constantly makes it the tournaments and does well.

The Scots and the Welsh will be celebrating like they won the world cup tonight, after England's exit. Ironic really, Scotland didn't make it, and the only team worse than Wales was Qatar, which is just plain embarrassing. Wales didn't even score an goal from open play, Qatar did.

Saka and Kane were blatantly fouled though.

And are we seriously gonna act like the Referee wasn't giving everything to France? The second penalty had to go to VAR because the Referee "didn't see it" apparently.

Swan 10-12-2022 08:37 PM

Anyway, im off to lick my wounds and gorge on soar grapes :joker:
