And they left out the fact he was a pedo who loved sleeping with 14 year old fans

So happy my favourite movie got so many awards.
I really enjoyed it, because it was different and original.
And the acting was fantastic.

Also over the moon for Brendan Frasier, who I loved since I saw him in The Mummy.
He was incredible on The Whale.

I have no idea, the effort it took to sit the whole way through it was something else.

Did you watch it? It was actually really good and imo Austin Butler deserved the Oscar, he was fantastic (although I'm happy for Brendan Fraser as he seems like a lovely guy) EEAAO was really bad and painful to sit through

Awkward Hugh Grant interview on the red carpet.

bots 13-03-2023 09:27 AM

the oscar awards have rarely made any sense to me. In the area i am most knowledgeable about, the music side of it, the winner is pretty much a similar pick to eurovision and i have a feeling films are similarly picked

Liam- 13-03-2023 09:27 AM

Jamie Lee Curtis finally getting her recognition

Are those two facts correct ??

That is incredible if true !?!?

First Asian woman to have won best actress and Halle Berry is the first and only black woman to win it

Sometimes it's the critics liking it and not the public, but I watched it on Amazon Prime and these are the user scores.

Yeah same with me, If it hadn't been one of the Oscar nominated films that i was trying to watch before the show I wouldn't have even finished it, it was such a chore to get through

It's a standard enough question on Oscar night I would have thought (certainly when they're talking to the women anyway)

Yet no actor from the great City of Hull has ever won. Tom Courtney was robbed twice.

I feel so discrimanted against. Could you stick up for me by ranting about this please?

Nicky91 13-03-2023 01:49 PM

i'm happy for Queen Jamie Lee  her first oscar (her parents Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh were only nominated for an oscar few times but didn't win)

Nicky91 13-03-2023 01:49 PM

how emotional she was too :bawling:
