Therein lies the issue probably.
She likely hasn't much in the way of morals.

I've just always seen her as being more false.
The Miss Sweetness act has never impressed me at all, in fact I find it nauseating.

However I repeat, to me she is a totally useless presenter and even worse interviewer.
So definitely it should be time for her to go too now.

How on Earth can you judge her morals ?

We don’t know and probably will never know all the details - only what the media want us to know or what the media invent more like

She may have just shown moral support to someone she probably regarded as a trustworthy friend .. she probably did know he was close to that young guy on the show but how would she of known that they were ‘Facebook friends’ years before ??

She presumably felt hurt that he hadn’t told her the whole story/truth ( you can see why wouldn’t have told anyone - as the dates /timeline sound pretty bad ) .

I think she’s simply guilty of being supportive without knowing the whole story / details … in other words she’s blameless.

As regards her presenting style .. that’s just how she is and millions absolutely adore her .

I don’t think she’s particularly intelligent ( lol) but I find that rather endearing .. especially as she owns / admits she’s a bit dipsy . She’s presenting this morning not The Politics Show ffs

I love how compassionate she is and isn’t afraid of shedding a tear or two and I love her sense of humour and the things she giggles about ..

Zizu you like her, I do not.
Never have in fact on This Morning or Dancin on Ice.

I agreed with Cherie as to her likely not having morals.
Neither of us said she hadn't, we just felt she likely hasn't.

I don't think she does interview well or even present a show well.
As a professional presenter she often looks distracted when they are talking to guests.
Disinterested and looking bored.

Her childish giggling comes across irritating to me.
I don't find it endearing at all.
I think her dipsy moments you call them, are again just an act presenting a likely false image of herself.

I think she's false, that's my view.
You do not, that's your view.

Neither of us are going to change the others mind.

For me and again I agree wholeheartedly with Cherie, if she had any morals then she should leave the show too.

Why should she leave the show if she’s done nothing wrong ( apart from being supportive whilst not knowing the whole story)

As for her interviewing technique- she’s just herself that’s not a crime . She’s fed the questions they’re not hers

She probably does get distracted - everyone does at some time … there will be some items that really interest her and others thst don’t .. it is what it is .

As I said MILLIONS absolutely love her

I rarely watch the program as I’m at work but I’ve always liked her when I do catch it

I'll only add I haven't a clue if millions LOVE her, however I'd guess probably there's also millions who do not.

user104658 29-05-2023 09:16 AM

My opinion remains that she shouldn't be "cast out" from opportunities in future unless there's some clear indication she's been involved in some sort of cover up.

However, it's moot when it comes to This Morning; I think the writing is on the wall for the show, and anyone sensible at ITV must currently be thinking the show needs to be replaced entirely. New team, new bosses, new production company the whole lot. A fresh slate is the only way to save that important time slot for ITV at this point.

Let's face it, the format is probably due an update anyway. It's all a bit 2009.

She’s constantly in demand and in work .. that proves she’s very popular.

Just look at the endless list of tv celebs who have disappeared overnight as soon as the public either lose interest or turn on them

popularity is a very difficult thing to measure. Most people don't watch day time TV. Out of a population of 60 million, they will be lucky to to get 1 million viewers, so she could be unpopular to 59 million in the country

But still more popular than anyone else on telly
:)

The producers are constantly gauging everyone’s popularity .. a recent example would be Maura .. massively popular on Love Island .. big character etc etc .. she was given her own regular slot on This Morning ( I never got chance to watch it ) but I don’t think her mega popularity lasted long as she’s hardly heard of these days

Eamon is a good honest man, he is a true hero.

Cherie 29-05-2023 10:27 PM

Even his wife doesn’t like him as much as you seem to .. she’s actually on record saying that she can’t stand him half the time but loves him the rest of the time

She sounds a bit needy or lacking in self worth tbh

He’s a womaniser .. wherever they go she always blames the women for falling for him yet doesn’t think that he’s initiating any of the attention .. she blames everyone else

Sounds like she’s also in denial

I’ve seen ( and read ) enough about Eamon Sleezy Holmes over the decades to form an educated opinion on him

Well Holly is just desperate to hold onto her place on the show anyhow.

She has allowed herself to become way too attached with Schofield.
So many programmes they've now done together and events too.

IF she stays on This morning, this mess will always stay a distraction because of her closeness previously to Schofield.
The same too with Dancing on Ice.

I quite liked her better when she was on celebrity Juice.
However she is, fairly or unfairly, part of this mess This Morning finds itself embroiled in.

I cannot accept she knew NOTHING, so while others like Holmes may well be setting out to settle old scores.
Equally so, she is setting out only to stay for herself.

I've never liked her on This Morning or Dancing on Ice.
So for me, just my view, the programme needs a whole fresh start and that they both should have to go.

The thing is she ( along with everyone else) will only know what he wanted everyone to know .. for example he won’t have mentioned the very FIRST time their paths crossed .

He will only have shared a diluted , acceptable version of events .
