1. Nigel - Not bad for a first week Paso.
2. Ellie

My bottom 3 based on entertainment value more than technical ability.

1. Eddie - He imo had the most bizarre dance of the night, I honestly don't get how he scored higher than Adam tbh.
2. Nikita
3. Bobby - Way too cheesy for me.

my thoughts

Adam & Luba: not bad for a first performance, also to open the show, yeah looked alright

Angela S & Carlos: pretty decent tango, although a little bit too much for me

Eddie & Karen: underscored for me, was a very entertaining performance, it was quick, although indeed too little moments in hold

Angela R & Kai: Flexy Legsy whew, Debbie McGee eat your heart out!!!!! this was a gorgeous performance, and i thought there was enough cha cha for me

Nikita & Gorka: it looked nice, i always enjoy a good slow waltz

Layton & Nikita: no thank you, also he was kinda wooden in the lower half, not enough hip action, darling

Zara & Graziano: too much posing going on for my liking, but the good part they have this dance out of the way now

Les & Nancy: it was bad ok, but i liked it, a lot good job Nancy for giving him something decent to entertain with

Ellie & Vito: not bad for someone her size, she isn't the skinniest/lightest and also for week 1, this was a pretty okay jive

Jody & Jowita: one of my standouts of the night, undermarked and a very nice quickstep apart from one tiny mistake which he couldn't do much about i think with his disability

Bobby & Dianne: a Dull Foxtrot from Dull Dianne, also not enough foxtrot for me personally, too much contemporary faffing about

Annabel & JoJo: what a serve this was, FINALLY a Tennis Player who can DANCE!!!!!!! great partnership too

Amanda & Giovanni: what was Craig moaning on about, this was divine, and that fleckrl, YUM YUM, ones to watch this series i'll tell you

Krishnan & Lauren: i don't know what hurt my eyes more, this cringe or Shirley's ugly pink dress :joker:

Nigel & Katya: Colin the Paso God worked well for ya, mate, wow wow wow wow wow, that capework too in week 1, wow wow :flutter:

Bobby is a good dancer. But I hate the saccharine sweet routines.
But that's not on him, he can only do what he's told. I really wish he had another pro.

he would've been better off with Nadiya i think


although am glad Nadiya has more free time, so she can help La Rippon, as she's with Kai, right

Yes. Also Diane is too short for Bobby. He needs a tall lady, like Nadya.

Angela R & Kai tonight on ITT :flutter: Kai is literally just perfect for her, they have a ballroom, not sure which one, but we'll find out tonight

Angela Rippon came across fantastic last night, and another leg move on the sofa :clap1:


she's only 4 years younger than Kai's granddad :laugh: they have amazing chemistry

idk if you guys had seen ITT, but anyways if you haven't, i can tease we are in for quite a lot of treats of performances this week


no one really seemed bad from the bits of training footage we saw

we saw a sneak peek of the Tina Turner tribute group dance for tomorrow's result show, looks fun too

who do we think will open the show this week

i'm thinking maybe Nikita (sassy beyonce charleston) or Layton (oldschool showman-ish quickstep)

as a show closer maybe Bobby (the better of the two charlestons) or Jody (his ACDC Paso as it's gonna be FIRE, teased by Jowita, would make a strong finish to the show possibly)


deathslotted: Zara me thinks, and possibly Ellie (Foxtrot also isn't too standout, so will likely be used before or after some of the more entertaining ones)

Les's samba seems to be staged quite well i think from what i could see, going full on boat or cruise theme


am curious if he's gonna shout ''Man Overboard'' or something, they were talking about that on ITT last thursday, would be clever to do, moments like that are always vote winners (remember Jeremy Vine's go west tango, on his horse ''i'm here, cuz i wanna dance with you'')

next week movie week, i hope something from Descendants is used :fc: there are good songs in those films
