I think that they're likely to be real tbh.
But I don't believe that Trish holds any real ill will towards the Asian community, I just think that she's one of those Twitter users who loves to attention seek on the site, and saying racist **** will draw a lot of attention to you. And tbh her Justin Bieber comment in 2012 was basically what everyone was saying about Bieber back then, we're all bad people according to some of these people kicking up a stink about that particular Tweet from Trish. |

Weird joke aside, you really should've been on Twitter when the Huw Edwards stuff was happening, I think Rylan Clark and Gary Lineker even claimed that they were going to sue certain people who were heavily implying them two as liking kids. My point being that unfortunately some people try to use the free speech argument on the Internet so that they can commit libel. |

Even for attention why would someone who seemed so intelligent post so much crap online ?..... and not realise it can come back to bite her on the ass ?, her tweets were so incoherent and like the ramblings of an entirely different person to who we saw in the house. Even when 1 historic problematic tweet gets dragged up it can get someone in trouble, let alone who knows how many there is . The tweets just kept coming. But I agree about the Bieber one ,she was literally copying and pasting a meme  , probably for a joke . I even heard a youtuber from Ukraine say the exact same thing about Bieber . So I would say this was the mildest comment she said. |

Literally after she comes out to cheers and is about to get her shot at being a Showbiz person, if you're right and it's a Catfish, then someone really holds a grudge against her. And if it is fake, then I feel really bad for Trish. |

I wouldn't let it cloud the positive traits that you saw in Trish. Most people aren't 100% a monster, we're normally somewhere inbetween, and Trish has just shown that she's Human, which imo I see as a good thing. |

But I get your point to do with Trish. |

And good joke questioning about the apology being verified. |

And I'm going to guess that Trish wants to be a Social Media influencer, and was maybe going down a PewDiePie path during his teen years with the "edgy" comments. |
[Big Brother producers are investigating
how offensive and controversial social posts by housemate Trish Balusa were not flagged before she joined the show. Most of the tweets in question - which fans have criticised for using racist and homophobic language - were posted more than 10 years ago. In a statement on X, formerly Twitter, she apologised, saying she was "deeply disappointed, embarrassed and ashamed". The 33-year-old from Luton was evicted from the ITV2 show on Friday. It was only after she left that the old posts came to light. It looks like her former account has been deleted, with the apology posted from a new account in her name. BBC News is choosing not to repeat the language contained in some of the historical posts. A spokesperson for the production company behind Big Brother, Initial TV, said: "This weekend we have been made aware of concerning historical tweets. "We are currently looking into why they were not identified by the independent supplier we engage to review the digital footprint of potential housemates as part of our pre-checks." A planned appearance by Trish on spin-off Big Brother: Late & Live, hosted by Will Best, will not go ahead, a production source said. Contestants who have been evicted usually appear on the lively evening debate show. Trish is said to be being supported as part of the programme's welfare measures for contestants.] https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-67397575 STUPID title of this thread. But I agree with you that his strategy could never work these days from the ground up, as I think Trish has sadly found out the hard way. |

Its a Valid Report. I was not even looking for it. It is a on their First Page of all the news |
[Big Brother UK contestant Trish Balusa
has apologised and said there's "no excuses" for historical tweets in which she wrote derogatory comments about the LGBT community and Asian people. Balusa, 33, had become a fan favourite in ITV's Big Brother reboot but was evicted in a double elimination on Friday night despite a fan-led campaign calling for viewers to vote strategically so she could win. The posts on X, formerly known as Twitter, only came to light once Balusa had left the Big Brother house. It looks as though the account they were shared on has since been deleted. Sky News has chosen not to include Balusa's posts. Posting to a new account in her name on Sunday, Balusa admitted her historical tweets were "very concerning" and said: "I would like to sincerely apologise for the harmful stereotypes I perpetuated and the pain I have caused to the marginalised communities and groups of people mentioned. "There are no excuses for the ignorance that I showed and I am deeply disappointed, embarrassed and ashamed that I once made such comments. "I have come a very long way since by educating myself and being educated by others on the impact and harm these views cause."] https://news.sky.com/story/big-broth...weets-13006695 |

They didn't remove Trish because of her tweets, she was voted out. Trish sadly has caused her own demise, its nothing to do with ITV. They have a duty to investigate as their internal procedures should have identified this and didn't but you are acting like they have done this, when they have had no hand in the finding of these tweets. I agree that Farage is a contreversial signing but that has nothing to do with the current situation imo. If they had ejected her over the tweets and condemned her pubically, whilst they would have been right to do so, you may have a point about hypocrisy but they haven't done that. Trish was a fave of mine but she has let herself down on this. Its on her, no-one else. |

I don't condone Trish's tweets and yes she's held accountable, but the way producer's have handled all this ...has been badly. You would have thought they'd learn from BB19 . But no doubt scandals will keep happening,as nobody can be bothered to do background check before it gets to a embarrassing stage of too little too late . |
…I’m thinking that Trish not being apart of any after the house stuff…?…is something that she wants as well…because its doubtful that any public attention would be good or positive or healthy for her…she just needs to be with her family and close friend circle now…and take some time away from the public, I would say…?…
