But Sam is the opposite and he's far too aware of the camera's ,and he just dominates everything. I wouldn't be surprised if producers have had a word with each campmate about how ' popular ' he is ...and so they all want him to 'win' , as they can't go against the guy with ADHD  . Would be nice if when Marvin goes tonight ( sadly his time is up soon) that he actually says Tony to win or something , but no doubt it will be " oh I want Sam to win " and blah blah  .

I really don’t think there’s such a big conspiracy to make Sam win. He seems to be genuinely popular among the other camp mates and, from their interactions, I believe they genuinely like him.

What some find annoying in a person, others can find amusing and endearing. As a teacher, I worked closely with teenagers on the autistic spectrum who also had ADHD, and Sam seems very typical to me.

I taught a range of subjects to a class of these students throughout their time at high school, as a means of managing and supporting them with their social and emotional difficulties. I honestly have to say that it was one of the greatest privileges of my life, and they were a pleasure to be around. I feel so lucky to have had that experience, and maybe that’s what the camp mates feel too.

Maybe it’s something you have to experience to understand, or maybe we all have different tolerance levels of different characteristics? I suppose, in the same way that you feel about Sam, I would have less tolerance being around loud, temperamental or arrogant people, and find that very difficult.

Cheers, Jet. This is something I feel strongly about, so it really matters to me.

Look, GoldHeart, we have very different views on this, but you have posted an unending stream of negative comments about Sam every episode - my comments are nothing about me wanting Sam to win, but have been made in response to your constant criticisms of Sam and misunderstandings about his issues

Although you have no time for him, I think you’ve made more posts on Sam than on anyone else, and I have no real awareness of who you do actually support and want to win as a consequence, so cannot respond to that.

I’ve actually very much enjoyed IAC this year, and have always said that I’d be just as happy for either Marvin, Nick, Sam or Tony to win as I’ve really liked them all. It’s not really that big a deal for me.

I have to say its been pretty good and Sam has played a big part in that, there has been a nice mix of drama over the food and a lot of humour, you cant fake humour, Josie and Sam are naturally humourous, it is a pity viewing figures are down as it has been pretty good viewing

I would love Tony to win but we all know Sam's going to win

I don't even think Tony is making the final 2 sadly. I think it's between Nigel & Sam with Sam winning.

I think Josie is leaving tonight .

It has been good viewing this year, and I have enjoyed watching a large number of camp mates. It has been a good mix, and it is a shame viewing figures are down. It’s been great, light-hearted entertainment, and fun to watch each evening.

millyrose 10-12-2023 08:08 AM

I have enjoyed it to.

Zizu 10-12-2023 09:10 AM

Just shows that it’s better to have a group of people who all get on and not have an annoying troublemaker like Lady whatsernane ..

Imho

I have to agree with you here. This has been one of my favourite series in a long time.

millyrose 11-12-2023 06:29 AM

I have really enjoyed it except for it being the Sam show

Every year it's dominated by the obvious winner getting all the air time. Last year wasn't as bad , but the year with Jordan North ,I think most people thought he would win including himself with his silly catchphrase " happy place". I'm glad Giovanna won that year .
