He'd have been wiser perhaps to hold off and shelve this policy until after an election.
It's a ridiculous one because of multi thousands crossing in the criminal sl gang boats Only 250+ can go to Rwanda . How is that a likely deterrent. He's just going to be having himself left open to more criticism or ridicule on it Such as has been begun today by Braverman. Yet it's a policy where no doubt the Country support efforts to stop the crossings, however it appesrs most of the Country, neither understand why or agree with Rwanda as the designated Country. |
"Only 250+ can go to Rwanda ."
Joey by July many more will go. |
the number that get shipped to Rwanda is only limited by the number of flights. Once they get it up and running, they could do 4 flights a day which would be around 1000 people, and that would quickly sort the problem out

The House of Lords makes no more changes. PM Sunak has won his victory. It now goes to the King and The Rwanda Act becomes legal [The government has committed to staging a review of asylum decisions for Afghans who helped British forces to ensure they are not deported to Rwanda unfairly. Labour's Des Browne did not push his amendment as a result. Meanwhile, in bizarre scenes the Lords was briefly plunged into darkness thanks to a power cut.] https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-migrants.html Sign Of The Times |
Awful policy.
However let's see what happens from now. |

…so the King approves something that he himself has openly stated as ‘appalling’…/ethically….and that’s the ‘positive role’ of the monarchy for his country…?…..shameful day…

I know loads of people who do want the boat crossings eased and stopped However I find very few indeed who think Rwanda is the right Country for this. Which is my own position on it too. I find it obscene. I'd love to see where the evidence is that most of the Country support Rwanda as a safe Country to send ANYONE to who doesn't want to go. Actually I'll leave it there and just applaud your own word for it Zizu. Bonkers. That's exactly what this costly and limited policy is, stark raving bonkers. |
Ridiculous.
Find a way to actually stop the crossings, instead of trying to implement a "deterrent" which everyone knows won't affect most of the migrants. |
|
When they come here, STOP giving them the very best.
STOP the best hotels, the best food, FREE clothes, mobile phones. Just give them a tent and £25 per week for food. That's it. TRUST ME, then they'll stop coming! |
