Princess Diana suffered with bulimia. There are very clear pressures that come along with the Princess of Wales role.

why is it odd, they haven't told us what Charles cancer is... we weren't told the Queen was dying when she was ...if they want to keep some medical information private that is their choice

It's a soap opera. And it has you hooked, admit it?

I find "Abdominal surgery" strangely specific if they're not going to be ACTUALLY specific, I suppose. Why not just say "a surgical procedure".

As for not giving the details of Charles' cancer, if it is what I've heard it is then they're not saying because it's not good news... And honestly from the look of William (he looks like he hasn't slept in a week) I'm leaning towards it being accurate.

If you want to go by how someone looks, harry was smiling away as he flew back home

So either his father ‘s cancer is treatable , he doesn’t give fcuk
We know his face tells us what he is thinking without him speaking

Oh I'm not saying that Kate doesn't have an eating disorder, maybe she does, maybe she doesn't.

If she does have an eating disorder, then I personally can't notice it, especially not as much Zizu can.

William does look very tired. Probably some late nights looking after Kate.
And now he's back with the added worry of his father illness.
No wonder he looks exhausted.
Harry could be smiling maybe because the talk went well?
Even though Charles is clearly sick.

Well I do pride myself for noticing small , even minuscule , details but in lovely Kate’s case it seems rather obvious that’s she’s drastically underweight.

You might aswell put up photos of William with a full head of hair from years ago then some resent ones

Oh look he’s bald

Your problem is, once you get something in your head you can’t get it out

Ammi 09-02-2024 07:01 AM

…why is it generally females that are criticised and scrutinised in such an intense way relating to their physical appearance…did she lose a bit of weight/did she gain a bit of weight…is it just the right amount, is it too much/too little and on and on and on…Kate looks amazing on the outside and she looks happy and glowing on the inside and that contributes to enhancing her outside…our physical appearances/bodies change over time, which means the toning of our bodies won’t stay the same either….I mean, life’s cruelty is that we have to work harder and our muscle ratio/none of it will stay the same ….poor Kate/poor females in general…they can’t even look amazing without being scrutinised and analysed within an inch of their being for looking that great….anyway, wishing her a speedy recovery from her surgery….

arista 09-02-2024 07:07 AM

No, she is a Royal
Ammi.

So must be perfect

arista 09-02-2024 07:08 AM

This Thread Title is Wrong

She is Not Missing.

Ammi 09-02-2024 07:09 AM

…she is perfect, Arista…it’s the perceptions of humans that are filled with imperfections…

Whilst your last point is factually correct and something I have no control over … I feel that the photo comparison carries some weight ( unlike lovely Kate lol) ..

The earlier photo shows her looking absolutely fabulous and quite muscular and about 2 stones or 14kg heavier

My point is she doesn’t look amazing .. thats my concern..

I’m sadly old enough to have lived through the rise and sudden fall of Karen Carpenter and this is precisely the route she took and nobody did anything then either

the earlier photos are from when she was around 19 and a student, I could find you photos of David Beckham looking round and baby faced at 19 and now he is a chisled adonis, you cannot compare teenage bodies to those of people who are now in their 40s

…no, your point Zizu is that you personally feel that she doesn’t look amazing and you’re attaching an association with someone who had a known eating disorder…we’ve also all ‘lived through Nikki Grahame and her eating disorder so it’s not an age thing, it’s a perception thing and something that you’re attaching yourself…anyways, I’m honestly not going to become any further part of this scrutiny of Kate or any other female…it’s easy to see the pressure on females when they’re constantly subjected to these analysis of their physical appearance…

100% agree with both these statements

…the thing is that those photos of David Beckham aren’t the ones that have had the attention over any equivalent of Victoria Beckham who has also been subjected to a similar scrutiny over the years for her own body form and far more than her husband…

People believe crap like was posted in the OP. There is no reasoning when they go down that rabbit hole, so it's best not to bother. We can all have an opinion of course, but I would ask the question, why do people choose to believe stories that have no basis in proven fact. Why do they think they suddenly become experts on a subject they really have no clue about

…I guess it’s largely because of the nature of how we I react and pass our opinions on in the now world…back in the day, a personal opinion would only reach a very restricted and small amount of people in our own circles…?…but now in the era of the internet, a personal opinion can be posted on social media…and then it can get however many likes and agreements so that it’s realised that it’s a shared opinion…?…and that gains traction, an opinion can rise into the ranks of ‘influencer’….and therefore the opinion giver(s) feel that their own stance carries more weight because others share it…?…I mean that’s just a quick reaction response to your pondering question….but yeah, social media’s and how we interact and share in modern times is what I feel contributes to the sometime blurring of fact and opinion…

It might be because of bed times stories that are read to us as children

In general people love to wallow in other people struggles even if they are not true

Vanessa 09-02-2024 09:09 AM

I hope she's not feeling the pressure to look a certain way.
Shes a very beautiful woman and naturally elegant. She reminds me a lot of Diana.
