i do think Jasper Dahlhaus is a good replacement for Inigo Cordoba for the left winger position, Dahlhaus did fabulously at FC Eindhoven in the KKD (dutch first division) 116 games in total, 30 goals and 40+ assists, whereas i found Cordoba kinda mediocre most of the time, with a few good moments


Ante Erceg idk him, but its good to have one more croatian onboard, for Halilovic and some reinforcement up front was very necessary



we need a replacement for Siovas next tbh, so hopefully another cheap veteran central defender somewhere



do think the coaching trio of Buijs/Poldervaart/Boessen will work excellently as well, and with Boessen's addition i can see us using more own youth product maybe :think:

Probably not the worst striker we could go for. I mean we are reckless, but we do absolutely need a consistent forward if we even want to challenge for 4th next season, let alone the title.

Welcome to Sittard, 22 yr old swiss midfielder Ryan Fosso, he comes over from FC Vaduz, the liechtenstein team who play in the swiss challenge league and also some experience from champions league and europa league qualifying rounds

also a former youth international of switzerland

quite a busy transfer market for us

it seems Verrips is also set to be leaving, so makes me think we'll sign one goalkeeper (on loan presumably, or we have Bayram our own youth product as our second goalie for the season but my bet is the former)


we do have to sell though, one more player, there is interest for defender Rodrigo Guth but no team who brought out an offer yet and we don't want to necessarily sell him this season tbh


i would approach Boy Waterman as second goalkeeper, he is available after his contract expired at PSV, okay 40 yrs old, but still he has plenty of experience and would be a useful cup goalie i think

idk what Rodrigo Guth will do, on one side we can use the money well from selling him, but on another side, i really don't want him to leave, find him one of our strongest defenders (bar Pinto)


fun fact Guth played with Vinicius Junior in the brazilian national youth teams :D

am really curious about Makan Aiko, i mean from a french 3rd league team is always a risk but what i saw in videos about his skills, promising


Robberechts has also got something special i think, Buijs really believes in him (he also worked with him at KV Oostende in belgium)


good we have enough choices now up front compared to last year, Dahlhaus also plenty of experience in our leagues/cups at willem II and fc eindhoven, is a good alternative for Mitrovic

Erceg is a good backup for Sierhuis and a good pinchhitter/supersub maybe


oh yeah we still have Kristoffer Peterson too, he's becoming good at penalties, also useful to know since we had a penalty curse last year and the year before :joker:

we need more defenders, that should be our main priority

we're looking quite thin there at the moment



although we also have shown interest in former feyenoord, fc utrecht midfielder Simon Gustafson, swedish international currently playing at Hacken




not like fortuna cannot spend anything, we are more smart at going for the cheaper offers or free agents, so if gustafson is too expensive we won't go for him, but we'll see in a month from now if they are willing to lower the transfer costs
