Any coalition is watered down, especially with loads of groups all making demands. Have you ever heard the saying that a camel is a horse designed by committee? Think coalition.

In fact, the only coalition that buckled badly was LD's giving in to Cameron and Osbourne's austerity agenda.

What are their extreme policies you're scared of?

Reports Macron
will try to stay in power.

He has massive hatred.
(from the many Extreme Left-Wing groups)

He can not stand again

Sounds a bit better outcome that Le Pens lot won't get power.
If that's the end result.

…in general, much of world politics is in a bit of chaos and in crises atm…I have nieces who live in Paris…Marine Le Pen is hugely unpopular for many but then Macron is not well liked, either as a leader…so rock and a hard place, I guess…

Nicky91 08-07-2024 07:59 AM

France are doomed
