…these stories really do seem to have opened up some quite awful stuff from the producers of the show with some very poor care/concern for the celebrities…Angela Rippon has now also said that she was asked to ‘play down’ an injury she suffered during the rehearsals…she was apparently told to not mention the cut on her leg so that it didn’t ’puncture an illusion and fantasy’ that the show projects…it all seems like a ‘floodgate’ that’s being opened of Strictly times that are very far removed from sequinned frocks and glittery heels etc…

Nicky91 19-07-2024 01:15 PM

yeah well, we could use a bit of lighter positive news rather than this pit of negativity

Ammi 20-07-2024 06:10 AM

…it’s reported that Anton Du Beke’s name is now also one that has been given to legal representatives…

Strictly has in recent years had a lot of false positivity going around imo, where everything is all rosy, but expressed in a really OTT way that never felt genuine to me.

Stories like Graziano's might be explaining why the Show is behaving like that now.

I mean its the ultimate showbiz show, I never really got the appeal of Strictly, the same dances over and over, sure some were great but in the main it was just rehashed dirge just like I'm a Celeb

the Mirror are literally fishing for stories now, that one was from 15 years ago which he already apologized for

i never get the appeal for Dancing On Ice, same dull and uninspiring amateur ice skates over and over, also they don't need to train as much either since all they do is skate from place to another, recycling same lifts over and over again

but yeah cancel strictly all you want, i still have lets dance anyway

I would say the same about DOI although there is always the chance they will fall

Nicky91 21-07-2024 07:37 AM

imagine digging up stories from 15 years ago just to jump in on the bandwagon

pathetic

more than enough evidence that the Mirror tabloid is failing

bots 21-07-2024 09:07 AM

yet again, it looks like the BBC knew exactly what was going on and chose to do nothing about it. I don't know how many times this is going to be allowed to be repeated

Strictly’s first female pro dancer faces bullying accusations…

A female professional dancer has become embroiled in the Strictly Come Dancing misconduct scandal, marking the first such accusation against a woman on the show.

The unnamed dancer is alleged to have bullied her celebrity partner, reportedly "screaming in the face" of the contestant when he struggled to master dance routines.

According to The Sun, a formal claim is being prepared and is set to be submitted to the legal firm Carter Ruck on Monday.

A damaging summer for the show has already seen male professionals Graziano Di Prima and Giovanni Pernice leave in acrimonious circumstances.

Carter Ruck is also said to be working on claims put forward by former female contestants including Amanda Abbington and Laura Whitmore.

Unlike Di Prima, however, who is said to have kicked his partner, the female in question is not thought to have been physically abusive.

A source told the Sun: “The man in question felt very much victimised by the behaviour of his Strictly partner.

“He alleges that on several occasions she flew into a real fury when he couldn’t get the steps right, and on one occasion screamed full in his face.

“They rowed every single day.”

They added: “He was left upset, struggling to sleep, and feeling isolated in the process. But even worse, he felt totally unsupported by Strictly.

“When he suffered the setback, it was clear he was struggling, but he felt there was no duty of care. After leaving the show, he was not contacted again, even by phone.”

The BBC has said it is working with the Met Police to get to the bottom of the complaints.

A statement added: “We will always listen if people want to make us aware of something or raise it with us.

"The BBC and BBC Studios take their duty of care extremely seriously.”

I hope its not Katya, her routines are about the only good thing about the show

bots 21-07-2024 10:58 AM

i want to know why we are forced to pay a licence fee for this crap. It's been happening over and over again for decades

smudgie 21-07-2024 10:59 AM

No excuses for any physical violence and assaults.
Perhaps the celebs should be warned that it will be similar to a boot camp, expecting shouting in their faces etc, before they sign up to it.

Nicky91 21-07-2024 12:04 PM

such wimps you got in the UK :hehe:

really they would cower in fear of Ekaterina Leonova or Vadim Garbuzov

if you can't handle being told what to do, don't sign up to this show ;)

absolutely embarrassing all of this news :joker: :joker: and no moans whatsoever in germany :flutter: apart from nasty rapper hag Sabrina Setlur whom thought Nikita Kuzmin was too strict (if only Nikita was a little more disciplined than he still could've had a future in lets dance, if not for his rule breaks in the choreographies)

And with the female pro, I'm sorry but I'll say for her what I still am holding out on with Giovanni, actual irrefutable proof of them doing or saying something heinous.

Because being unlikable (going by their claims) shouldn't warrant you being sacked or scrutinized to the same level as the guy that kicks and spits at his Celeb partner.

Nicky91 22-07-2024 07:55 AM

I'm not saying that Giovanni is actually guilty of anything.

I'm just saying that it's good to hear what one of the "bullying" comments were.

Now there needs to be at least other people that can back this claim up.
