…yeah, it’s crazy isn’t it…they seem to disable themselves with indecision at times and then at other comparable times, they’re on speed…

Cherie 25-08-2024 09:44 AM

Maybe they acted quickly because of how badly they handled Huw....

He really needs to grow up and take responsibility for his actions.
Perhaps the two women didn’t want him to apologise to them in person.
The BBC are doing their best for the 2 ladies.

Exactly and he is now moaning about how the BBC handled his sacking, maybe if he just did his job and left little Jermaine in his pants there would be no need to sack him

thesheriff443 25-08-2024 11:05 AM

Maybe the two women were using work phones and they were being monitored hence him not being allowed to apologise

This is one of those say sorry ride out the storm and hope to get back on tv in the future

trying to make contact with the victims is a form of intimidation and coercion so it's no surprise people tried to prevent that

I remember Phil paid the guy making complaints against him a lot of money and didnt Huw do something similar?

You are having a laugh aren't you, he is 40 year old ex footballer, there is more hope of Mason Greenwood presenting Match of the Day than there is of Jenas returning to any mainstream TV channel  He wasn't even that good at his job, he only got it because he was an ex footballer and there are plenty of those with no baggage attached hanging around.

Grame Souness was left go from Sky due to his comments about women in football, never to be seen again either

Bigbrother or I’m a celebrity will have him on

And I’m not joking about him coming back on tv

Well he has been given a voice by the sun news paper so the victims and wider public know how he feels

oh sure as a one off but he wont be seen in any presenting role on a regular basis again thankfully

He had some cushy numbers MOTD pundit, presenter on the One Show, football commentary .....all gone because he couldn't keep it in his pants, now he will have to scrabble around for work to maintain his lifestyle and there will be no photos of him and his wife at Wimbo.... feel sorry for her and especially their kids who will more than likely go through hell now because of him

Cherie 25-08-2024 12:17 PM

Jermain Jenas has three children with his partner Ellie: Geneva (10), Olivia (7), and Jacob (3)1. He also has a 16-year-old daughter, Sancha, from a previous relationship

has he apologised to them and what they will inevitably face at school?

bots 25-08-2024 12:22 PM

Andy Gray and Richard Keys returned to broadcasting after their sexist commentating, but they had to move to Qatar to do it

Well Edwards was a full on predator ...who even collected child images, so he's far worse imo .

By sounds of it Jermaine was harassing / or trying to start affairs with his co presenters..... people are spreading rumours of him sending nudes, but do we even know that ?.

He was married and was being a pest by sounds of it,so yeah inappropriate and him being sacked reveals it was probably not reciprocated, but we haven't seen the texts either ... I wonder if we'll ever find out what he actually said/ did .

The media was quick to show us some of Edward's texts , I wonder why Jermaine's are missing.

Hew jenas:hehe:

Ammi 28-08-2024 07:28 PM

Jermaine Jenas is to be given a career lifeline by TNT Sports after his sacking by the BBC.

The former England international was sacked from Match of the Day and The One Show last week for sending inappropriate messages to female colleagues, but TNT has not banished him from its roster and he is expected to return to TV screens later this season.

TNT declined to comment on Jenas’s employment status after his sudden dismissal by the BBC. Contrary to some reports, Jenas was not stood down from commentary duty at Brighton’s Premier League win over Manchester United on Aug 24. He had not been scheduled to appear.

While Jenas has not been booked by TNT for the next few weeks, he has not been exiled. Some sources at TNT told Telegraph Sport that they expect him back after next month’s international break, but a return date has yet to be formally discussed.

TNT executives are expected to address the matter during the Premier League break next month. Any further revelations of inappropriate behaviour by Jenas at the BBC would alter their stance.

Jenas is employed as a freelancer by TNT, which calls him up on an occasional basis alongside other pundits and co-commentators.

In addition to commentary work, the 41-year-old also presents TNT’s E Sport programming.

this sounds like a journo just making things up tbh

bots 28-08-2024 09:01 PM

he is a freelancer on TNT that doesn't appear on a regular basis. He was a fixture on the one show, so it's not comparing like with like. They can easily test which way the wind is blowing before making a decision on if he will return or not

GiRTh 28-08-2024 09:03 PM

He wont be back. He's not talented enough. What an idiot to throw away jobs he was never qualified to have.
