i don't think there will be a meeting between Zelensky and Putin. For Putin to do that he would have to acknowledge that Zelensky was the president of Ukraine and he doesn't see that as a legitimate position as ukraine in his mind is russian.

I also think that a lot of words were said by Trump yesterday, and people have jumped to all sorts of conclusions, but the words were far to woolly to actually mean anything substantive

Zelenski is really playing the Billy-big-bollocks ain't he... who is he to make demands, when Ukraine's continued existence basically depends on the west pumping billions into that black hole.

The idea that Putin must hand back every piece of land that Russia took in order for the war to end is just pie in the sky, regardless of Ukraine's "constitution" ... there's surely a compromise to be found, one that doesn't involve Ukrainians to be constantly killed?
