The context. I don't mean "ewww" as in it disgusts me either, I'd just rather not see it.
I can get you there, I am often uncomfortable with things I see on TV and that doesnt make you small minded or childish at all. It simply means it is something you would rather not see, simple really
Thanks

For example if I was watching it with my mum or dad who often watch TV with me, I'd have probably wanted to leave the room because I was that uncomfortable. It doesn't mean I'm immature.

basically i started it off by say channel4 are going to be in trouble again

because you are not allowed to broadcast an erected penis
It wasn't exactly erect though.
no but it was past the allowed amount
The "allowed" amount are just flexible guidelines though?

Sunny_01 23-07-2007 06:51 PM

there is a huge difference between "guidelines" and rules - guidelin can be open to interpretation, rules are to be followed

I didn't say I'd shout "ewww", I'd just be uncomfortable watching it.

I always get misunderstood so don't worry. It's actually quite difficult to express yourself on a forum. Which is one of the reasons why I hate it when people jump on you and bash you when they misunderstand your point.

well i would say the penis was more that semi-erect
and was way higher above the guildline (if it is a guileline)

*Adäm 23-07-2007 07:12 PM

Yes, and as i said earlier, even if it is above the guideline, it doesn't make it illegal. As a guideline is not a rule or law. It is just a guide.

They did use the appropriate warnings after the ad breaks so I don't think they'll "get told of for it". They may get some complaints but nothing serious.
