I agree with the main event, you could tell as soon as they announced the Triple H vs Umaga & Orton match that it would end up with HBK helping Triple H and reforming DX.

Santino was the best thing about Raw this week, "stomp a mud pie in you". :D

Looks like Jericho will be at Smackdown, here's an article.

from Newsday in New York.

For WWE's Chris Jericho, a sort of homecoming
BY ALFONSO A. CASTILLO

October 30, 2007

He may have spent most of his life living in Winnipeg, but World Wrestling Entertainment writers just didn't like the idea of wrestling hero Chris Jericho being billed from the Great White North.

"They didn't want guys to be from Canada if they were good guys," said Jericho, 37, recalling the policy change about three years ago. "So I said, 'Why don't you just say Manhasset?' That's at least where I was born."

Tonight promises to be a homecoming on two different fronts for Jericho. Not only will he be signing copies of his recently published memoirs, "A Lion's Tale: Around the World in Spandex" at the Carle Place Barnes & Noble at 5 p.m., but he is rumored to be making his return to the ring after a two-year hiatus at the Nassau Coliseum for a taping of WWE's "Smackdown!" program.

"I never had any intentions of retiring. I just needed to take a step back," said Jericho, who spent his time off touring with his band, Fozzy, and doing some acting. But Jericho said writing a book, "helped me to remember the passion and the love that I had for the [wrestling] business."

"A Lion's Tale," which details Jericho's journey from a childhood Hulk Hogan fan through honing his craft in Mexico, Japan and, eventually, making it to the WWE, has drawn solid early reviews, including from Publishers Weekly, which called the book "Funny, insightful and compulsively readable."

Tonight's WWE event is the first on Long Island since controversy struck WWE when authorities say Chris Benoit killed his wife, son and himself in June. Jericho writes plenty about his close friend and mentor, in his book, which he completed more than a month before the deaths. In an addendum, Jericho addresses the incident, but otherwise left his remembrances of Benoit intact.

"He was involved so much in my life and especially in my early career, that you couldn't just edit this guy out," said Jericho. "It would be compromising my story."

Jericho, who moved to Canada when he was 5, has few memories of growing up on Long Island, but said performing here is always special.

"It's still always neat to see these words on a street sign of "Manhasset," and know that's what's on my birth certificate."

Redmond 31-10-2007 02:14 PM

That wasn't true, Jericho didn't return last night at Smackdown, plus he'd return on Raw or a PPV if he were to return.

The new Save_Us video said "Launching_19" a lot so that could mean Y2J will be back on the 19th November on Raw, the night after Survivor Series.

Omg when i read this i was so annoyed.
WWE Diva Search contestant Taryn Terrell recently did an interview where she buried WWE Champion Randy Orton and former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler. She also said that there was one diva that she knew to stay away from, while she didn’t reveal her name, it is assumed to be Melina. Terrell said before she was eliminated that she would still work hard towards getting a job in WWE but after she was eliminated has not been heard from since.

How dare a DIVA SEARCH girl blast randy and even Melina.

Redmond 31-10-2007 04:10 PM

Does anyone else think that the new Diva Search winner looks a lot like Candice?

I hate all diva search contestants.. every single one of them. They know nothing about the WWE and are all sluts.. ;]
And she buried Orton?! Who is she again.....? My point made.

Ruth*Star 31-10-2007 04:22 PM

I liked Lena because she actually wanted to wrestle and knew alot about the biz, though i didn't mind Jessica or Eve but Blonde Bimbo Brooke had print out cards off all the superstars since she had no idea who any one was other than candice.
But for one to BLAST the wwe champ is stupid, she wants a job, well the idoit won't get one blasting the superstars, smart move Taryn.

Redmond 31-10-2007 09:59 PM

I wouldn't say they're sluts just because they were skimpy outfits, most divas do. Plus Candice came from the Diva Search so once in a while it can be worth it.

And to be honest it's only the girls opinion, just like we're making opinions here. But obviously as she's trying to get a job in the WWE it's not exactly a smart move.

Got tickets for Mania!! Pretty good seats too, right near the rampway so will be close to the wrestlers coming down to the ring. Here's the seating plan. I'm in Section 16! Can't wait!

http://i15.tinypic.com/6azrclw.png

Just found out that we have two extra tickets! My Mum ordered them you see while I was at Uni and she just kept selecting Best Available (but she didn't realise that they keep releasing more tickets every few minutes) so at first she bought two $90 tickets up in the 200 sections, but then she checked again a few minutes later and the section 16 seats were available and she said she couldn't let them go so she bought them. So we now have two $90 seats spare.

Ruth*Star 01-11-2007 05:56 PM

Oh Well done on the seats, they look really good seat,s when wm is on i'll look out for you
and This was a shock
The following is from WWE.com:

WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Diva and Extreme Expose member Brooke as of November 1. We wish Brooke the best in all her future endeavors.

I never thought she would be relesed, i saw a match of hers from FCW with nattie neidhart and i thought she had the potiential, i wouldn't be surpised if Brooke G was hired.

Sarah. 01-11-2007 05:59 PM

Woww, that's awesome, I so want to go..!

Wow Brooke released.. I wonder why, hopefully they'll get rid of Layla and Kelly too =]

Ruth*Star 01-11-2007 06:03 PM

I don't mind Kelly, shes alright with me but Layla does nothing other than dance, worst diva search winner ever, she sucks, Jen England shoulda won.

Redmond 01-11-2007 06:30 PM

If anyone knows anyone who wants to buy the two spare tickets that I have for Mania then let me know.

Stu 01-11-2007 06:41 PM

Congratulations on Wrestlemania 24 BigBrothersLittlePod. I hope to make it to 25 myself.

Ruth*Star 01-11-2007 06:43 PM

Its the first chance I will have to go because I will be 18 in December next year so im definately going. I want to work all throughout next summer to get funds.

See ye' there!!!

Ruth*Star 01-11-2007 06:48 PM

Yeah once i leave school next may/june i get money for being in collage (Well i've been told i will do) so some of it will go away for me to save up for my WM25 ticket, which i hope i can go.

Sarah. 01-11-2007 06:56 PM

I'll be saving for WM25 too, I'm excited already lol!

Redmond 01-11-2007 07:26 PM

Looks like Mania 25 is the place to be! :D

You'll love it though, there's nothing quite like being at Mania, I've been to WWE events in the UK in the past and they have been great but nothing compares to the atmosphere of being live at a Mania, especially in Chicago the crowd was amazing. In a way I'm quite glad I didn't go to Mania 23 and am going to 24 instead because I was disappointed with this years Mania, it looked amazing, the arena was huge and it looked great on TV but I felt the matches weren't that great.

Ditto. The presentation seemed to overshadow everything at this years wrestlemania. And in my opinion , it was too overdone. The place was lit of like christmas to the point that you could never take in the full 80,000 crowd.

Redmond 01-11-2007 08:14 PM

It was 60,000....next years is 80,000! The queues are going to be horrendous. :D

Outside as well, hopefully it won't be raining.

Sarah. 01-11-2007 08:24 PM

It'd be cool for it to rain next year, it would be . . . interesting.

Ruth*Star 01-11-2007 08:32 PM

Yeah i can imagine the head lines.
"It rained on wrestlemania"
"(Insert Superstar) Rained on (insert superstar)" "Litterally"

It'd sure be funny if it rained.

Wrestlemania 23??? 80,000. Theirs no way they are all payed for though. They sold something more close to 67,000 and gave the remaining tickets away at a low price to get the attendance.

Somehting to get ya' excited about those queues ...

Redmond 01-11-2007 10:11 PM

Ah year, sorry I've got them confused it was Mania 23 that had 80,000...Mania 24 is 60,000.

I thought the queues at Mania 21 and 22 were bad and they were only in 25,000 seater arenas. It's going to be crazy next year!
