True. I'm not saying that all English people are bad, it's just that some people are so stuck up their own arses and naive that they believe England to be superior to every other country in the world. Don't get me wrong, it's natural and a good thing to be patriotic, but the majority of English people mock the Welsh, Scottish and Irish population (who setteled on the British isles BEFORE the Engliss BTW), but there is a small majority that respect and recognise the other countries that surround England, and so I respect them. The thing is, the English often mock Welsh people for being of low intelligence. The fact that we are brought up to speak more than one language fluently should be enough to convince you otherwise.
:xyxwave:
Please stop skipping this, Andy-Dale_win.
we have the right to think were superior our achievments
merit this

as for mocking you????

i think it's mockling on both sides so you cant pin it all down on england

and language wise

well what does most of the world speak???

english
How do you have the right to be superior? See what I mean in "naive" and "syuck up their own arses"?

Fair point, but there is much, much less mocking on our side. Take the bore Jeremy Clarkson for example, he constantly digs at the Welsh on TV shows and there is no reaction. Yet when Welsh TV presenter, Beca Brown, mocked England a few years back there was a huge uproar!

As to what most of the world speaks, let me help you:

Chinese (937,132,000)
Spanish (332,000,000)
English (322,000,000)

Perhaps most people speak English because the US, Canada, Australia, South America, Ireland, New Zealand and the Philippines & India also speak it as a first language? England is one of the smallest English speaking countries on that list.

Yes that's because of your addiction with invading countries, killing and enslaving people, robbing them of their natural resources and forcing your religion and culture upon them. Tell us about these achievements.

Novo 16-09-2008 07:14 PM

we hardly have a addiction for invading other countries LOL

I like that idea.

N.Ireland and Scotland here we come!

:cheer2:
Speaking on behalf of the Republic of Ireland, brilliant idea!!!!
I love when the six nations comes around as ALOT of Welsh and Scottish come over here to watch it in our pubs. Everyone sits together, has a laugh and regarless of who wins we all get drunk and party the night away. There's NEVER any hard feelings or taunting the losers. I live in Munster by the way so we usually have alot of exciting matches to watch.

Facts are pointless? Or is it pointless to reply because you know you won't win?

You see thats the difference between England and the rest, we don't see it as us getting together to 'unite' against anyone!!! Why on earth would we want to 'unite' against England. We're all perfectly happy with who and what we are and enjoy each others company during theses matches because we know that no rows will be started. We enjoy the match and it's let go at that.
