Loving tonights episode, so different to all the other episodes so far but also so good

arista 02-05-2009 06:47 PM

Yes very clever episode
so well made
pure quality.

Scarlett. 02-05-2009 06:52 PM

I remember last year when Primeval tried special effects (not CGI but like slow-mo) they couldnt do it right

but this years episodes are doing a lot better, I'm glad they changed the team around too

btw, are the birds dodos? :spin2:

arista 02-05-2009 07:07 PM

This Episode
is second to none

Scarlett. 02-05-2009 07:17 PM

Agreed, love the scene with Lester in the Arc

Next weeks episode looks brilliant!

'Knight out in the city'
Saturday 9th May, 2009

A Cretaceous anomaly opens in a junkyard and a new dinosaur, the Dracorex, breaks through. The team arrives and must find a way to protect the dinosaur from a would-be dragon slayer, who has come through from a medieval anomaly

Primeval Wiki

arista 09-05-2009 02:05 PM

"The team must deal with not only with a dinosaur on the loose but also a deranged medieval knight who is convinced he is a latter day St. George.
Meanwhile, Connor finds Rex for sale and Jack is in big trouble..."

Yes Chewy another great Episode tonight at 7:15 PM ITV1.

Pretty good so far.

Spike 09-05-2009 06:38 PM

So glad a human has come through an anomaly, its about time.

Scarlett. 09-05-2009 06:56 PM

Aye, I have always wondered why it always connects to dinosaurs time periods xD

arista 09-05-2009 06:59 PM

Great Story
again this would have made a Great Film.

This series has been pretty good, much better then the previous two. I'm glad Cardboard Cutter's gone, the new leader is much more likable. I liked Jenny though and wish she hadn't left but I could see why she left as her story petered out with Cutter's.

This episode was good, the series as a whole still has massive problems like stiff dialogue and cheesy scripting but it's a fun bubblegum series.

Barbie 10-05-2009 05:24 AM

Undecided with this years, i wish the cull of cast had been slower, everyone seemed to go at once!
Cutter i didnt mind going but Jennie needed to stay, although with no Cutter her part has gone so at least she went out as a good character.

Like that a person has come through at last and that a link to the myths has been made!

I think the next move should be to show that it is all over the world rather than just the UK, not show 5 different teams but stick with ours and just show a scene with a video link, just to show us its out there, could be a way to bring a new character in

Yes the Cheesy Script bits
could be for BBCAmerica
who have the USA rights for this great ITV show,
they sell it on BBCAmerica DVD's
and show it on there channel.

No, the script's just bad in places. BBCAmerica only gets around 3 million viewers on average I think It wouldn't make sense to make a bad show to get middling ratings in a country it's not targeting.

Spike 10-05-2009 11:33 AM

Last nights episode was great and this series has easily been the best
I think the new characters of Sarah and Danny need more air time and we need to know more about them
I'm missing Jenny, she really should have stayed because I think her and Danny worked really well together

arista 23-05-2009 03:04 PM

Episode 9 (of 10)
An Anomaly opens up in a campsite
with seven ton Rhino Type beasts
Danny arrives with a mysterious woman from the future
who seems to stop the stampede, but
the team discover she has a Dark Secret.

7:20PM tonight on ITV1
