It's totally absurd that an open world game would end when you finish the main questline. It's something they should have fixed in New Vegas instead of squandering all the development money on getting Matthew Perry in.

Yeah but why should I have to spend another £8 for what's ultimately an alternate ending :(

And that's why Oblivion is better you can do the main quest and then carry on after that and do any other quests you want

And it's got Sean Bean putting in a career defining performance as Martin Septim. Pastoral, peace loving monk turned heir apparent to the throne.

And it's lovely to just have a walk around in. Not like that mock up of Sheffield that they done in Fallout.

oblivion is miles better than fallout 3 idk about new vegas though :suspect:

i got trapped in some guys dream before and i had to go through 4 different doors and get his courage back and stuff

it was fun

There is a mission too where you need to go into some dudes painting to get him back out of it.

i did that one the other day my fave quest so far has been that crazy guy who thinks people are spying on him all the time so you have to watch them then report back to him at midnight and he gives you £150 for telling him that they are not spying on him >_>

You can do both, I killed everyone for the fun of it but then I restarted the tranquility lane part from a previous save and I went into the abandoned house and activated the failsafe. It gave me good karma. :angel:

Yeah I ended up doing the failsafe :laugh: I loved some of the options to kill Mabel though... falling down the stairs :laugh2:

The whole thing utterly freaked me out though. Those people just immersed in their pods for 200 years. Horrible.

Lmfao. I did the super elaborate methods of murdering everyone. I set the robot on one of them and that was just plain hilarious. It just pinned her to the wall omfg. :laugh2:

New Vegas is much better IMO. It's Fallout 3 turned up to eleven. Much more thematic and nonsense.

I thought the ending was a bit of an anticlimax tbh. The walk from the Citadel to the Lincoln Memorial was quite fun, with all the helicopters and mini-nukes crashing around you... but I thought the Enclave were a bit naff overall. Getting out of their base was a piece of piss. And Colonel Autumn was stupidly easy to kill.

Oh and in the ending I got the Lyons girl to sacrifice herself ha2 **** chivalry.
