I just think you might be a little rigid in how you look and rate women, that's all. What if she broke a leg or had a dodgy leg and couldn't train? What if you got married to her and she couldn't get the pregnancy weight off afterwards? It's bad to define attraction on purely that superficial level because it's not permanent.

I actually didn't recognise her Gonzo!!

Cheryl looks good now - but there have been times when both her and posh have been almost as thin as that picture on the thread. It looks awful. Bearing in mind their success - they shouldn't need to feel the need to conform like that - and it does set a bad example for all those vulnerable very young girls out there who think they need to be as thin as that to get noticed.

What is wrong with a healthy sized 8/10 - why on earth would any girl want to be thinner than that - the only real explanation is pressure. Pressure to conform to that stick thin look - which doesn't even look good. Even if it did - people should not feel pressured by society and the media to look like that. Slim women are far more attractive than thin women.

Girls don't starve themselves for the fun of it - they do it to fit in. It is wrong. They should not be made to feel like that.

Obviously ill see when i come to it.
I dont konw how id feel, its never happened to me before.

I do care for personality to you know, infact i care a lot for it, just physcial attraction is what attracts you in the first place.. and slim is just what i like..

*mazedsalv** 27-10-2009 10:04 AM

Some of the pictures posted here make me feel a little sick. Just SO skinny, its disturbing, it really puts me off. I dont get why models themselves will find that attractive.

For me my general size going for would be a Size 8-12. 10 probably being the best.

Celebrities like Pamela Anderson, Beyonce, Holly, they are all really curvy, and i find that MUCH more appealing that horrificly skinny women.

setanta 27-10-2009 10:06 AM

You'll feel differently when you're older. Slim, curvy, average, petite- it doesn't matter; women are beautiful in all shapes and sizes, and as long as they're healthy and happy it doesn't matter.

Stephanie 27-10-2009 10:09 AM

size 00 is the new 0

30stone 27-10-2009 10:12 AM

I could pretty much guarantee i wont, i just dont like stomach fat like at all.
But obviously when your in a more serious relationship then obviously if they gain weight i would stay with em and help them work it off, not ike id just get rid of them.

setanta 27-10-2009 10:16 AM

You realise women store more fat than men don't you and that it's a natural thing for them to have a softer body? And anyway, I think it's mad to not think of going out with a girl just because she's curvalicious lol.

I don't think there's anything wrong with you liking girls who are slim and fit, especially because you look after your own body. But of course if you got married and had kids I'd hope you might make allowances for the fact that your wife not be be as trim as before!!

Stephanie 27-10-2009 10:19 AM

women are always going to be fatter because otherwise they won't be able to have kids.

Holly Willobay(can't spell!!) is a good example of sexy curvy women, she has a bit of a Marlyn thing going on!

Yeah thats pretty much spot on, for me. I diet and train hard to keep myself looking good, i know women geenrally wont go all out like i do but they dont need to just to keep slim.

And setanta im just not a fan of curvey women. Just doesnt interest me.

WOMBAI 27-10-2009 10:24 AM

You have a lot to learn about what is really sexy. Sexy is in the mind - in the personality and confidence.

Why are we not discussing what body size men are. Why should it be different. Do you conform to a certain size - or don't you think it applies to men? If so, why not?

Everyone, regardless of sex, should look after themselves and keep themselves in good shape and healthy - but why should women be pressured to be a certain size.

Personally - I think that men who try to put that sort of pressure on women are very unattractive. It speaks volumes about their character and how superficial they are.

I generally like men to be in good shape and fairly slim - but it is not the be all and end all - other things are much more important. The same applies to women. They do not need to be stick thin to be attractive (it is a horrible look) and they should not give a damn about men who think like that. Their opinion is flawed.

setanta 27-10-2009 10:27 AM

I agree Wombai. Can't believe 30stone said he'd help them lose weight. Imagine saying that to a girl lol. You'd have to wear metal underpants while you did it.

lol

Does this dress make my bum look big?

No, all the cake you eat does... let's go jogging :)

30stone 27-10-2009 10:33 AM

Im not talking about men because im not attracted to men lol.
But yeah i do think men should keep up their appearance to..

I woudlnt pressure someone into losing weight, as when girls gain weight they usually say they want to lose it, so id happily help. lol.

Niamh. 27-10-2009 10:38 AM

I think 30stone is getting a hard time here without good cause!! He's just saying what he likes and he obviously is into training and being fit so whats wrong with him wanting to be with someone who feels the same as him?

If he was saying he loves fat women no one would have said a word to him!! lol
