The contestants have been split and the teams are ready to play - so here's their simple first task.

After electing their leaders, the teams must come up with a name, which will stick with them for the rest of the show, and a logo for themselves. They must also create an avatar and banner for their members to use.

Their work will be judged by two forum members renowned for their graphics ability, and you, the forum public will vote for the identity you prefer. The team behind the losing identity will then face the first firing.

Join me on Thursday for the results of the first task.

For any non-contestants, I should point out that each team works on their tasks in their own secret subforums.

Only me, moderators and team members will have access to the respective team's forums.

Once the tasks are over, the teams' discussions on the tasks are copied over to the main Apprentice forum for all to read. :)
