I dont get it, as much as it doesnt affect me really but ratings are dropping fast, so why are they trying to get rid of the hardcore fans?!

Because they don't care about the ratings. They've made their decision - it's going, and they don't think it's worth putting the effort into saving.

Hi guys.Its oathbreaker here from Digital spy BB forum.
a lot of the guys know me as Emoqueen also.
I can assure you this story is 100% true with inside BB getting it direct from the horses mouth.
Paula and myself have been in contact the last few days again and she told me an answer on the live feed would be heard quite soon.

I have checked with the Big Brother team, and I am afraid there are no plans to reintroduce live streaming this summer. I know this will be disappointing for the devotees of the programme, but the numbers of people using the service just did not make it viable to provide it, and given current economic conditions, we are having to make some very tough calls about where we invest our money.

sad truth is they have lost all sense and reason about Big brother.they dont understand removing such a vital part of the show what effect this is going to have.
Lets be really honest here..the highlight show is pretty pathetic the editing is so biased it doesnt make good viewing.
Yet now they are relying 100% on the h.l to keep it going.but dont worry..we still get those bloody clips....

Thanks for the confirmation, but as your in contact with Paula, is there any way that they could add a few more hours onto the feed shown on E4, we as fans deserve that. Eg. 12 midday-4pm and abot 8pm-3am (theres no point going until 6am).

hiya we are pushing bigtime its an utter disgrace with all the multichannels they have its been reduced to this.
ive also been in touch with all the tabloids..the daily start were spitting blood about CBB they basically use that feed like others use the AP news agency.

just a thought,

how does it cost less to only show LF at night? Surely it costs more to pay people to stay up all night producing a feed that hardly anyone will watch?

How come we can't forget the overnight feed and have it during the day, on red button so as not to interrupt normal programmes?

It's not really about people watching it 24/7, most people just switch it on when there's nothing else to do. Like I'd go to bed and watch it late at night, and now from the sounds of things I'm not going to have that choice :bawling: And it also means that you can't really get to know the people, because the highlights shows are useless and the producers pick who they want to be seen in a good lightand who in a bad light.

I probably won't watch it properly if there is no live feed. [I wouldn't mind if they done the same as they did with CBB though - a couple of hours in the day and then from 12-6 at night/morning]
