My step dad killed himself becuase he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease...selfish? I dont think so...fkn brave if you ask me!

Brave for definite. How many else of us could take a step like that, to decide our own fate, for the good of what we ultimately want? Not many.

Umm I nearly did, but got caught in the middle of doing it :/ So I didn't. But my mum brought me to counselling etc to get it all sorted out and it's all okay now :)

I've nothing but respect for him...mind blowingly sad but yer know life is far more complicated than "ever thought of suicide?...I would never, huge smiley!!"

If you have no one and are completely alone,without family and friend's then i could understand maybe.But if you have family and friend's that love and care about you then you must really be out of your mind or selfish because your not thinking about how they will feel.

I'm sure most people have thought about committing suicide before, maybe just in a passing thought, or maybe with a serious intention. I've never attempted to kill myself, because my life will (hopefully) never be so bad that I need to end it.
