It is against the Islamic faith to practice in gambling.

Voting for people on reality television contests is against this key fundamental Islamic rule, however the television broadcasting agenices have allowed to have public votes.

The big difference is that on the Internet, talk of these public votes and its contents within the show are banned. Therefore no website from the country of broadcasting contains this information regarding that television show.

i must say im finding it hard to believe that the "middle east" would be so strict on public voting lines. from personal experience working with these kinds of shows from what i know china has the strictest and most ott rules on public viewing and voting and im flying there tomorrow to start work on one of the biggest chinese talent shows around. surely if china is allowing it this mysterious middle eastern country would too
