I've never even seen one in person, oddly enough.

Oh, and by the way, why didn't anyone think that NUff Respect thing I did was funny? Do I not have the lingo down or something? I'm out of synch with the new generation, ah well.

I thought it was funny. I laughed at Stumeister Jenral, in particular.

(yes I'm kissing arse)

I was actually reminiscing over the Commodore 64 the other day, which was actually the greatest ever excuse to get kids out playing in the fresh air. None of your high fangled instant satisfication back in my day, oh no. You were lucky to get it turned on, nevermind functioning properly.

I like me retro games, I do. I still emulate Master System on this thing.

Yeah I was a sega man all the way. The Cash Converters near me had plenty of Master System and Megadrive carts and never any Nintendo stuff so that's how it panned out I guess.

Phew, it's always worrying when you post something that tickled you pink and you don't get any reaction from it. I giggled while I was typing it - sad but true.

Stephanie 23-12-2009 08:48 PM

noo, i didn't peel the stickers off and cheat :(

People aren't really allowed to agree with me, you see.

Now whose being paranoid!

Sega never hooked me like Nintendo did. They were masters at creating addictive games.

Don't worry, you often tickle my pink.

I like them but there was something about Mario and the like that was just so enjoyable. I mean I'd still play the old Mariokart if it was around now. Just classic stuff.

Stu 23-12-2009 08:54 PM

Streets Of Rage was world class. Awesome soundtrack and bosses. Even those generc guys with the ginger hair I remember. And the fellas with the spikes who would throw you around. And the ninjas. And The Ultimate Warrior, for some reason.

Novo 23-12-2009 08:55 PM

The fat guys with Dungaree's who breathed fire, won't forget them for as long as i live

Enid 23-12-2009 08:55 PM

I have no idea what you guys are talking about, and I hate myself for it..

You're not missing much. Old games. Mostly platformers or fighting ones.

Yeah, I think you either like Mario stuff or you don't. Zelda was great. All the Zelda games are great.... the one on the 64 was just brilliant. Ah, and Goldeneye. What a game that was for it's time.

Was Streetfighter and Bomberman with Sega?

Enid 23-12-2009 09:05 PM

I don't get it Jack. An orange bag?

The zip is open like a mouth, and I'm not understanding a word of this conversation.

Can't work out whether that was sarcasm though

A bit of both.

I suppose there's not much difference in them really, when you think about right? Both can be time consuming, demanding, frustrating and competitive. Lets all go for a walk and get some fresh air.

Suppose arguing could be turned into a game with points scored?
