Yeah thats ridiculous but i reckon +1 will get quite a lot at 10pm tomorrow night as on C4 its on the 9pm slot.

Whats on BBC1 tomorrow? If theres not much competition, then all we have to worry about is DOI (which should get lower than the performances as its just an introduction).

If Pamela or someone very famous DOES go in, then the second show will get quite high ratings even though its on 10:35pm-11:05pm. But theres no eviction tomorrow though i dont think, so someone must be going in.

Or they automatically vote someone out (the housemates)

Inside BB saying that CBB7 is so far averaging 4.0m... 700,000 up on what CBB6 was averaging by their first Wednesday show.

*mazedsalv** 07-01-2010 10:11 AM

Last night including +1 got 3.2m.

Ratings so far of the overnights:

Launch Sunday: 6.2m (22%)
Monday: 3.5m (19%)
Tueaday: 3.2m (15%)
Wednesday: 3.2m (16%)

Wednesday was up about 50,000 on Tuesday, as it was so nearly to be 3.3m. Also the share % was up 1% from the night before. So a little rise is good :)

Lewis. 07-01-2010 10:14 AM

If Pamela does go in then they would be better off telling the public.. that was news can spread and they could easily get 4m+

Spike 07-01-2010 10:15 AM

I'm still a little dissapointed at the ratings after the good launch figures and snow
but still after BB10 these figures are very impressive, hopefully it will continue to do well because its not a bad series

So far I think its the best series since CBB4 (inc summer BB)

Its kind of too late to tell the public, unless they put it on every front page tomorrow morning.
Also it faces tough competition tomorrow up against Dancing On Ice, and also Wild At Heart. But thats whats +1 is for and +1 tomorrow night could be quite high.

I hope that the 10:35pm show is high tomorrow.

I predict this for the next couple of shows:
Tonight- 3.3m
Friday(1)- 3.5m (with about 500,000 of them on +1)
Friday(2)- 3.4m ??

Jords 07-01-2010 01:11 PM

Things are going pretty well rgarding ratings!

Callum 07-01-2010 02:27 PM

I think anything over 3m is good. Didn't BB10 get an average of 2.8m or something like that?

2.4 million was ther average for BB10, it was VERY poor in terms of ratings. This CBB is getting around 3.3 million each highlights and the launch had a peak of 6.7 million!

President 07-01-2010 09:45 PM

Something of note, perhaps. CBB is trending the best since launch night on Twitter:

· #nowplaying
· #WhatWereYouThinking
· #cbb7
· Shorty Award
· Jay Leno
· Texas
· Nexus One
· NBC
· New Jersey
· CES

Hopefully it's a good sign for tonight.

President 07-01-2010 10:04 PM

It's now up to number 2:

· #nowplaying
· #cbb7
· #whatwereyouthinking
· Jay Leno
· Shorty Award
· Texas
· Nexus One
· NBC
· New Jersey
· CES

*mazedsalv** 07-01-2010 10:14 PM

Wow, very impressive! :)

Billy 08-01-2010 11:03 AM

Thursday 7th January:

BGT-FAN! 08-01-2010 11:05 AM

No, it wouldn't affect it that much. The officials will push that figure to over 3m though, so that's ok.

Thats excluding +1.
We are waiting for the +1, DS reported the rating and they never include the +1 on their report. The +1 will come soon.

Oh so then it will be over 3 million again, the ratings have improved by about 1 million since BB10, things are looking more promising for CBB!

Exactly. Looking like it will be either 3.1m or 3.2m (similar to previous 2 days).

*mazedsalv** 08-01-2010 12:22 PM

Last night including +1

3.1m (15%).

Fifth time in a row to be above 3m (all their shows, something that NEVER happened for BB10), and fifth time in a row that its the highest C4 programme of the day.

It is their highest rated programme every day, but they are axing it due to low ratings!?!??? what the hell

Spike 08-01-2010 03:54 PM

The show is doing well and consistent but I would like to see it closer to 3.5million because its a decent series. Such a shame that the good looking series average will soon be spoilt by C4 scheduling
and if anyone is wondering what C4 have to replace the ratings of Big Brother in the summer after BB11 well the paralympic games will be filling some of the scheduling space in summer 2012

Exactly.
Its because BB10 wasnt getting the highest C4 ratings for that day, generally it would be the 3rd most watched C4 programme of the day.

But for the fifth time in a row and for the whole of CBB7 so far, its been the highest rated show, and the only C4 show to be at 3m+.

Brekkie 08-01-2010 04:45 PM

Fairly consistent this week, and no surprise it was slightly down last night as the political storm had blew over so casual viewers could get back to watching the pretty snow on the news.

Yep, the news has been defenitley getting in the way, it got 6.7m on BBC1 and almost 4m on ITV.

Oh my god, that is what is replacing BB!? Channel 4 are retarded

Gavin 08-01-2010 06:31 PM

Really bad ratings. 2.9m inc +1 is poor for first week.

For Big Brother it is good, and by the way it was 3.1 million inc +1

3.1m incl +1

I bet its probably your precious Stephen putting people off.

President 08-01-2010 09:00 PM

Shame, I was hoping for more yesterday. 3.1m is still quite good, but I don't like the fact that it hasn't gone up yet!

As for current Twitter trending:

Interesting that DOI isn't on that list

I think it'll still do well, easily beating CBB. A lot of its audience are probably older ladies who don't go onto Twitter much!

DOI is going to slaughter BB, theres no ifs or buts about it. I think it will be 8m v 3m. But I just thought that even with that amount of viewers I'd still expect it to trend even if it was at the bottom of the list

pixee 08-01-2010 09:48 PM

God that looked like rape...

Tom 08-01-2010 10:03 PM

I bet the figures for the second show are going to be poor, it was basically live feed and Ivana was introduced at the start ....

biglover 09-01-2010 12:20 AM

DOI will slaughter BB, but I dont understand why. They say BB is bad television and rubbish but DOI is a bunch of has beens skating very poorly on ice with silly outfits on, wow how exciting and educational!....not

*mazedsalv** 09-01-2010 09:05 AM

I think this is INCLUDING +1

Friday(1)- 3.4m
Friday(2)- 2.6m (23%)

So looks like the 9pm slot held up VERY well up against DOI, which got 6.3m (22%)
Look at the 2nd show's share!!! :shocked" Thats brilliant.

Think about it, 2.6m with no eviction.

It is 300,000 up on the 1st week average of CBB6.

CBB6 Average 1st week in Overnights- 3.3m
CBB7 Average 1st week in Overnights- 3.6m

tmx 09-01-2010 10:26 AM

But it wasn't C4's most watched show -

CBB (9pm): 3.4m / 13%
8 / 10 Cats: 3.4m / 17%

Yes it was joint. The share is irreleveant as there were different amounts of people watching at those times. They were joint most watched.

3.4m is brilliant up against DOI and Silent Witness(it was that, wasnt it on BBC1?), which both got over 6m!

The second show, you cant deny that it did really good.... the share proved that not many people were watching TV between 10:35pm-11:05pm. (as 1/4 of the share wastched the eviction), meaning there was only about 11m people watching TV at that time, as opposed to the 28m that have been watching the last 3 days in the 9pm slot.

The 2nd share beat DOI share which is odd.

biglover 09-01-2010 11:45 AM

That is very good for BB, people have to remember the disaster that was BB10, 3.4 million agaisnt DOI which got 6.3 million is very good

Tom 09-01-2010 02:04 PM

Much better than I expected especially the second show! I'm starting to think next week might not rate so bad after all, I don't think it will drop below 2.5m although it probably will tonight.
