So if it isn't the trams fault, someone (I reckon Natasha) will have something to do with it
Well the viaduct does collapse xD but what causes it?
Also take Trevor off the suspected death list, he leaves way before it it seems :p |
Im glad Trevor is going, cant warm to his character.
Also the Peacock's look to be out of the show before it too as this childcare storyline is progessing pretty fast
Filming for the disaster will take an unprecedented 23 days, filming apparently begins next week and will finish on the 23rd October
Ohhhh :D
Plus they have the live ep, I wonder how they're gonna do it, with all the rubble and shiz |
Not quite sure, they'll have to recreate it xD Apparently in January we will be only a few weeks behind when they're filming episodes
Wheeeeey!
And it's the big press party on Friday!
I hope Natasha reports Gail
Apparently it's five weeks

Fantastic! They really looked through the archives for this one! |
Gah, still have no sound. I'll look this weekend :)
Gail was so out of order i know its her son but for gods sake stop interfering.
Aww that was a really good montage, wasn't too keen on the music choices mind you.
Was that last shot at the end of Ken and the pidgeons from an upcoming episode, I done remember seeing that. And rofl at Rita, Ive met some hard faced bitches in my time  |

Apparently Corrie might be the first show to use live CGI
I saw that! :o
wonder how they'll do it |
Quote from Phil Collinson
“As we head towards anniversary week secrets and lies cloud the cobbles; Molly’s baby secret, Nick and Leanne’s affair, Carla’s growing obsession with Peter, Becky and Steve’s desperate bid for a child and John Stape’s double life. The drama multiplies and as these storylines reach a shocking climax secrets refuse to stay buried and lies are exposed. “When a tram then comes crashing off the viaduct it’s the web of deceit these characters have weaved that will see the fabric of the street changed forever, as relationships are broken and some of the show’s most loved residents stare death in the face!” |
Apparently Corrie will only be two weeks behind when it is actually filmed in January!
Oh ma gawd, thats actually really good for us :D
Aye lol, it will also mean that it will be easier to keep post-tram crash filiming secret
SECRETS
- There may be a murder! - The tram WILL hit the Kabin and the Corner Shop - There will be collapsing buildings - At least three deaths (on top of the murder) - A baby will be born during the disaster |
OMG, I'm so excited about this. But how are they gonna show a tram coming off the viaduct live? I hope they can pull it off.
The tram crash will be pre recorded, but an aftermath episode will be live

Corrie's been awesome lately. Btw, do you know when Tracy returns for good?

Looks like the crash will cover up John's murder? |
Indeed lol
I hope there will be more than three deaths lol |
3 deaths would be an anticlimax, we already know
Spoiler: I want Spoiler: |
As well as creating the explosive scenes, special effects will be used to show the rest of the fictional Manchester borough of Weatherfield for the first time, Mr Collinson revealed.
"The special effects work we'll do isn't just about crashing the tram," he explained. "We're going to see Coronation Street in the context of the wider world. "So we're going to have great big wide shots that show you the rest of Weatherfield. Life has begun and ended at the top and bottom of the street, but for the first time we're going to see the wider world." BBC |
I was just about to ask what the title meant
lol :p it's weird that in 50 years, we've never see Weatherfield properly xD I think he means it will be digitally created too
I trust they'll do a good job with the cgi. As someone who has an eye for that sort of thing, I'll say the old titles were excellently renderred and that was all the way back in 2002!
