I dare say that the "choice" was made before she was even born when sadly something went wrong in the code during development and her physical self and her mental self took different gender paths. Her choice (if you can call it that) was to try and redress the balance. I doubt she's done it for the lifestyle, but you never know.

I think that we really think alike about it but that semantics are making it look like we differ more than we do. The "choice" to which I refer is the choice of whether to have the surgery or not and therefore follow a lifestyle based on living as a female. That choice was not made before she was born, she made it because something was obviously not aligned in what you call the "gender code", and I agree. I'm not putting her down. All I'm saying is that she can never be a complete woman, but that I support the decision she made. I doubt anyone would make that choice lightly, and the lifestyle she has must be a difficult one at times.
