They're all at it. Dannii makes some sort of comment that conveys how flabbergasted she is; Cheryl is openly rude to him and then Simon in the intro video tried a bit of reverse psychology it seemed to me; saying "it would be the end of the world if Wagner won" which to me suggests he wants people to vote for him more, and then spark an even bigger anti-Wagner movement, or trick people into not voting for him in some way. I really do think it's unfair on the guy, he's doing his best and he's being given such a bad time of it, worse than Katie's getting because at least she has the judges on her side. He deserves to stay because it's a big middle finger to everyone that's against him - so what if he can't sing? I genuinely find him entertaining and think he's a nice guy.

Also very true, Ms Cole has many hidden agendas, all likely not very pleasant ones towards others.

She could donate 500K to charity and they'd still find a way to find a fault, probably something along the lines of 'she only donated it to a charity SHE supports, not one that lots of people support'. It's really just a case of all of them clutching at straws and desperately trying to find things to pick at her for. Pathetic stuff, really. And I'm not even a big Cheryl fan - just indifferent.

People act like she's a serial killer, it is really pretty tiresome

No people act like she embarrassed a contestant live on TV on something she hadn't first clarified. Did that not happen then?

Wagner is indeed a nice guy and just you watch the sourness from Dannii if he outlasts Paije;). People who are voting for Wagner are playing into Simon's hands though because he'll still benefit from the votes and all this to see his smile wiped off will backfire IMO even though I do like him:)...

Not a big cheryl fan? Whenever anyone criticizes ANYTHING about her, be it justified or not you are straight there.

I hardly think this is just a thread picking for the sake of it either, as quite a few cheryl fans have posted and admitted she was indeed in the wrong to do it at that time. I dont blame her for needing clarification on it, I would be the same if I thought someone had been slagging me off, but I would be bright enough to realize papers take most things out of context and not to bring it up infront of however many million people when I knew there was a chance of it being bollocks...

...that's because I'm sick to death of seeing constant Cheryl hate threads on this forum every single day. There's never a break. Ever. The slightest thing she does and there's a thread made about it. Like I said, people act like she's a serial killer and after a while it really becomes tiresome. I am genuinely indifferent towards her - infact I've said in the past the panel would not be any different without her. And I would happily have her sacked in return for Sharon, who is miles better. I've said in the past that she's probably the least useful member of the panel, and still stand by that - but I defend her because the hate she constantly receives is so OTT, repetetive and often unnecessary.

But like I said, when someone gives an interview to a paper - there's more chance of it being true. They can still take things out of context, yes, or the interviewee could be lying, but there is still more chance of it being true than if they just said 'a source told us'. In which case, before Wagner's explanation, she obviously thought there was a chance it was true, and, as a result - Wagner had been slagging her off to the nations press [millions of people], so she technically had every right to bring it up in front of millions of people.

And that's another thing - when she said she was 'proud of where she was from' and 'very grateful' for everything she has, she came across as very sincere and grateful for all of her success - something which her 'haters' often criticise her for not being.

Stacey. 21-11-2010 03:11 PM

I think it's true that he said it, he even said "oh I didn't realise that guy was a journalist" and I guess though if I was a Wagner fan I wouldn't be too happy about her saying it, like if it had have been Louis saying something about Cher for example, but I hope it doesn't do Wagner good, and that he goes tonight which I think is likely..

Yes, a chance.

She could have spoke to him before the show about it...and if it turned out that he did say anything of the sort, THEN make her little jibes...

Zippy 21-11-2010 03:18 PM

I think Cheryl knew for sure it was true or she would not have brought it up on TV.

He virtually confirmed it.

It's OK because Ashley is planning on coming to her rescue:p.

Second BIB. See above.

The tone and context is key. We're lead to believe it was said in a degrading way but Wagner is trying to say he said it in a positive way. Otherwise that applies to most other people in showbiz.

Hello:D, Alesha hasn't got on by her looks.. did you see Misteeq, they could all sing and MC.. plus they had some great Pop/R&B/Garage songs. Alesha is talented and can dance too as proven on SCD which she won;).

Zippy 21-11-2010 06:33 PM

I like Cheryl and Alesha!

Cherylesha FTW.

I was referring more to Alesha replacing a well experienced judge on a dancing competition despite only having competed in one series of SCD. I wonder how she got that job? ;) Her solo career is only doing well because of SCD exposure, her first attempt completely failed. I do like her though but the irony here is that Cheryl is trained in ballet and ballroom whilst Alesha is an infinitely better singer!!

some cheryl fans need to accept that cheryl is in the wrong here me thinks.

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 21-11-2010 06:44 PM

if wagner goes tonight arrogance will not even be the word to describe her anymore

No, Wagner fans need to accept that he started it in the first place by being a nasty bitch. Cheryl was just paying him back with a public bitchslap.

If he survives it will be a battle won. But he'll still lose the war as he's shown himself to be a mean nasty man. Which will affect his chances of making any career in showbiz. God knows he has no chance of chart success. lmao.

Vicky. 21-11-2010 06:50 PM

LOL Zippy. Do you honestly think that the only people who think cheryl was bang out of order last night are Wagner fans?!

Mr XcX 21-11-2010 06:50 PM

I hope Wagner is safe this week!

Fans need to accept Cheryl was just being Vile and Malicious!!!

cheryl always says dont believe in the papers which she did without knowing 100% if he said it or not.

cheryl showed her true colours and was in the wrong.

No, Ive never said that.

I think its a valid point to say she was being unprofessional and it wasnt the right time or place. But TBF Cheryl has read a million bad things about herself many that are lies. She normally takes it in her stride. But I think this touched a nerve and made her particularly angry. So she went for payback.

It'll soon be forgotten like all these XF dramas are. New week, new drama.

Vicky. 21-11-2010 07:04 PM

I'd love to know how it touched a nerve though, I thought she was proud of her roots :conf:

I wonder why this one comment got to her so much when she reads bile spouted about her constantly :/

it was said in a degrading way if we're to believe the papers
