One RL friend of mine "met" another forum friend through me and now have each other on FB because they're quite similar, though.

Nope, I could always sort of tell something wasn't right, but did believe what he told me. I know it's like it could have been anyone's facebook account the person gave me, but I knew it wasn't cus I could see the pictures and it all made sense.
