The production is just ammeture and theres so many awkward silences in between jokes and clips.

They need to drop the games and make it an actual discussion show with unseen footage.

It's definitely gone further towards Big Mouth rather than BBLB

Seeing as BB is on at 10pm on a Sunday is going to affect viewers.

Should be on at 9

10pm = :)

9pm = Ocean's Greatest Giants

Patrick 21-08-2011 12:00 PM

The fact it's the 'highest rating launch' since 2008 or the 'highest rating Saturday' since 2008 - proves that this is the best series.. since BB9.

I'm really nervous now as to what little BB12 will get. I bet every ***** just abandons it once Amy Childs and Jedward leave on the final night of this, and BB12 will be left swimming with like 1.4 Million viewers.

They are officials though the overnights were lower.

Zippy 21-08-2011 07:20 PM

I think the ratings will continue to drop just like they were doing on Ch4. They should have either gone for a drastic overall or waited a few years to give it a break.

As such it's just more of the same and unlikely to gain much needed new fans. Just lose old ones.

CharlieO 21-08-2011 07:25 PM

A 2 year break would have benefited this show hugely. Ratings at this stage show nothing as it could be either an alright success or actually people not liking but just giving it a bit longer to fully judge it. Ratings don't guarantee anything right now.

iRyan 21-08-2011 08:03 PM

Even if BB12 flops, C5 are still signed on for CBB9 and BB13.

iRyan 21-08-2011 08:05 PM

I don't see ratings dropping during CBB, because core Big Brother fans and Jedward/Amy/Kerry fans will still certainly be watching, but we'll see what happens with BB12. If it looks interesting enough, people will stick with it.

daniel-lewis-1985 21-08-2011 10:00 PM

Have a feeling tonights episode will slump in the ratings....Its not even trending on Twitter.

Great episode though so i hope its done well

CharlieO 21-08-2011 10:03 PM

This episode was better but the first half was just as bad.

daniel-lewis-1985 21-08-2011 10:11 PM

Im guessing 1.9 for tonights episode as its on late aswell.

Hopefully it will suprise me though and stay above 2.5 its suprised me so far

Lucian, Amy, Darryn, Planet Jedward and Al Fayed all trended though.

CharlieO 21-08-2011 10:17 PM

The second half of this episode deserved more than the any other episode this series but I doubt it will happen.

iRyan 21-08-2011 10:27 PM

If Tara keeps up this game playing, I definitely see it stirring more buzz about the show because it's something that hasn't really been seen on BBUK in a long time.

Jay Hunt, chief creative officer, Channel 4:

What are you not looking for?

Big Brother ripoff shows

omg. i can't.

DigitalSid 22-08-2011 08:45 AM

dsrealitybites Reality Bites
2.15m for last night's BB in later timeslot. Shockingly dire 1.37m for ITV Born To Shine final. In context, 1.1m watched X Factor repeat

daniel-lewis-1985 22-08-2011 09:16 AM

Hmmm was hoping it would go up to 3m but think it will stay around 2m from now on.

iRyan 22-08-2011 09:28 AM

Probably because of the time change and the episode before this was ****ty. I definitely think there will be an improvement in ratings with the next episode.

Patrick 22-08-2011 09:29 AM

Meh.

BB12 is gonna get hit badly now.

iRyan 22-08-2011 09:30 AM

BB12 will probably get ratings similar to BB10.

BUT - I'm going to think positive and say it has the potential to get ratings as good as BB11.
