I hate facing the the Al Bhed Psyches at the start, they are amazing in all areas and Blappa has the Sphere shot.. somehow the Aurochs beat them in the actual main tournament semi final in the story though :crazy:

Once you get Wedge and Jumal the Psyches are easy.

Yeah got Jumal as my keeper but there is no one good to put at the back early on with good attack stats

Zalitz is a good one, he's in Luca in the Square near the cafe.

I'll have a look for him now, always find the Ronsos ( because they are so slow ) and Kilika because they are generally **** and have the worst keeper the easiest matches

Actually I think he might be outside the Sphere Theatre, he's either in the Square or there.

I've not had this problem, since I got the move with Wakka being able to get ability spheres from enemies.

At the Calm Lands now, thought I forgot one of the Al Bhed Primers before
but got all the ones from Home thankfully since you can't go back for them

I'm at the Calm Lands too, one thing that really bothers me about this game is the main character's faces, strangely enough they aren't as expressive as before. It's like everyone has had Botox.

Yeah although I think its mainly Tidus, the story does seem so much shorter now, I thought from when you arrive in Guadosalam and then the build up to Bevelle it took ages but it doesn't really

Yeah the story isn't as long as I remember, then again I think I'm underestimating how long it takes to get through Gagazet, if I remember right that's quite a long part.

I'm looking forward to playing X-2 though, we've always had the international version of X so the Dark Aeons and such aren't new to us but the international version of X-2 was never released outside of Japan and it's apparently got a **** ton of new features.

I'm trying to get Yojimbo and it's driving me insane.

I've just left 'Home', I'm pretty overlevelled, Tidus is a few moves away from becoming a white mage.

I've just beaten Seymour at Mt Gagazet. I annihilated him with Holy since I managed to get it early using Rikku's Sphere Grid and a White Magic Sphere to teach it to Yuna. I've built up my compatibility wih Yojimbo to a point where he uses Zanmato if he gets hit, I should waltz through the Dark Aeons with him.

I'm in the Omega Ruins, just got Anima before

Tidus's weapon and Sigil and crest were easier to get then I remember, did the Chocobo Catcher in 0 seconds after only about 20 tries, got luck with the lay out though

Oh I can't be bothered with that Chocobo ****, I just did enough to get the Chocobo and the Lvl3 Spheres and then I left.

Err I think Omega is harder in this version, I was doing pretty well until he used Ultima

I killed Zombie Evrae in two turns, lol.

Tidus has broke the HP limit now, just maxing out his sphere grid using the don Tonberry trick at the minute, went back to the Omega ruins before and beat Omega with him alone, the Dark Aeons still to come though :(

I've just beaten Yunalesca's bitch ass. She was about as horrifying as I remember.

Finished it before, I completely forgot how amazing that Jecht and Tidus scene is, I read before that you need to fill in all the empty nodes in the sphere grid to get the trophy for completing the grid, so **** that

I'm at Gagazet, I managed to get Tidus' celestial weapon.

I just beat Yunalesca, managed not to die, lol.

I'm gonna train up for a bit and then complete it, I wanna move on to X-2 and try out that monster training business.

I finally got Anima for the first time ever O_O

I'm onto X-2 now, it's so weird to get used to the battle system after playing X.

I beat Catcher Chocobo....


I'm going to have PTSD from that.

I've got the two new Dresspheres in X-2, Festivalist seems a bit crap and the Psychic is fun.

I got Holy, Yuna is the most powerful party member atm, lol.

She was the most powerful character in my game too, I ended up obliterating the last dungeon with her as her Flares were dealing 30k damage and she could doublecast them.

I completed X last night, I was a little bit overpowered, lol. Playing X-2 now.
