There should be no rule that someone can't be included just because certain forum members don't like them...

As josy says... mollie doesn't exist. How can she be included if she doesn't exist? If it was just the fact that she was disliked, I'd be agreeing with you.

Glenn. 27-04-2013 02:44 PM

I don't think Mollie should be included. She didn't exist and the man who made her up, deceived everybody.

Agreed, i don't care whether Mollie was a boy, a girl or a badger, 'she' was always nice to me when I was here and 'she' was always kind, so I have no problem with 'her' and 'she'd' probably make my list anyway, I understand people might not like 'Mollie' but she was nice to me and I don't have anything bad to say about 'her' only good.

She does exist, just as Mike. It's the personality people vote for not their gender.

Very sensible post Pothuthic http://a.mod-site.net/s/appl.gif

Roy Mars III 27-04-2013 02:47 PM

he'd be the same as all the other joke votes/nominations, don't see a problem with Mollie being in it.

it's unfair to not let people vote for Mollie when it's never been against the rules to vote for someone with a fake personality. People who are voting for him are doing knowing that he lied, if they still want to vote, let them

Glenn. 27-04-2013 02:50 PM

The way I see it, he's a liar regardless of whether he was nice to anybody. I don't like liars so him being nommed doesnt sit well with me.

You could also say its "Most loved forum member" not "Most loved person that's a forum member" Mollie was a forum member, as is "Jordan." and "Pothuthic" and "Jesus H Christ" end of.

Mollie would not be the first one to lie about something, be found out, and then be on the most loved list. The guy is a creep but let people vote for him if they want

I lied once, i told my mum that I was going out with a friend when I was actually going out on a gay date, does that mean I should be hung?

Glenn. 27-04-2013 02:55 PM

Oh yeah, I'm not disputing people who do want to vote for him. That's their choice.

Just saying I won't be voting for Mollie like I did most years before.

Brother Leon 27-04-2013 02:56 PM

I won't be 9th. Novo,Locke and myself don't even vote for each other

As for Mollie, I actually voted for them, but like **** am I doing so now :idc:

Think that's a bit of an over exaggeration, no one said said anyone should be hung for telling lies did they?

And Jordan my post meant the Mollie that everyone on here thought they knew doesn't exist.

If people want to vote for Mollie then that's up to them, seems a bit weird to me that they would vote for an imaginary person though, may as well throw a vote in for piddles too.

Glenn. 27-04-2013 02:59 PM

It's Piddles I feel sorry for in all of this

Yeah, that's fair enough I suppose. I won't be voting her though. What she did to Locke was low and the length of time she kept the lie going is creepy.

who would you consider to be other joke votes/hominations as a matter of interest?

at this rate Zee will have to post a list of people who are worthy...

Z 27-04-2013 03:35 PM

I wouldn't exclude Mollie. I think that Most Loved should be a reflection of the six months leading up to the countdown, and for a large chunk of that, Mollie was a huge character on this forum and, in my opinion, that hasn't changed. The reality behind the user is different to what we were led to believe, which was very hurtful for a lot of users, and those users have every right to be angry and upset about that - but for other users, the user Mollie was someone they enjoyed talking to, and they have every right to show their appreciation for that character. What I do expect, however, is that like always, the votes will reflect what's going on on TiBB - if someone is popular, it will come across in the final countdown. That's the whole point of the thing - to show who we all love and why. It's a feel good thread, that's the aim and it always will be, I wouldn't want to sully it with negativity. :)

People known to be negative and controversial usually get votes.

Nah, he just signed up like two days before voting began, so people voted for him as a joke lool.

joeysteele 27-04-2013 04:20 PM

I think Zee has the right idea, anyone on a permanent ban cannot be voted for and those who 'choose' to opt out also cannot be voted for obviously.

Once you start with this one and that one for whatever reason, the list could potentially be endless as to who not to vote for.
Everyone is aware that there was a problem with Mollie but if some people really liked the communication they had with that member then it is up to them to decide if they still want to include 'Mollie' in their lists.

I hope Zee doesn't get put in a difficult situation with this,he organises this superbly and has already said who cannot be voted for.
Permanently banned members and those opting out.
I voted for Mollie too last time, however I won't this time, that will be my choice and it is for others to make their own choices as to if they do this time.

I also thought MrLecturer was good fun, where did he go anyway? I enjoyed reading his posts.

Z 27-04-2013 04:52 PM

I think that active participation on the forum will always be rewarded, all I can recommend is that, as always, people nominate and vote for the people they think deserve their points.
