GiRTh 27-06-2013 10:59 AM

GiRTh 27-06-2013 11:00 AM

Have they all been covered by Weird Al Yankovic?

GiRTh 27-06-2013 11:00 AM

That was my thinking. I'm not sure he did Live and let die though.

You got it!

http://i.imgur.com/DC7Ucts.png

You heard "Live & Let Die" which Weird Al covered as "Chicken Pot Pie", although it was only ever performed live as he couldn't get the rights to record it.

"Like a Virgin" becomes "Like a Surgeon"

and "Beat It", the giveaway, becomes "Eat It", one of his most famous songs.

You would've heard "Ridin' Dirty" by Chamillionaire which was "White & Nerdy" by Weird Al, one of his more recent hits. But, you didn't need to, 2 points, very well done.

Onto round 2, sequences. There are still 4 clues, but I want you to tell me what the fourth clue is.

Here is your first sequence and clue:

Shaun 27-06-2013 12:17 PM

idk italian but the french is trente and latin languages are always similar

Kizzy 27-06-2013 12:23 PM

rivers?

Shaun 27-06-2013 12:25 PM

it's not a connection this time, you have to work out what the connection is and then say what the fourth one in the sequence will be

Kizzy 27-06-2013 12:31 PM

Oh... :joker:

GiRTh 27-06-2013 01:01 PM

Trenta.

This might be one of those rounds where you have to change a letter to make another word. I think we need another clue.

Kazanne 27-06-2013 01:32 PM

Treble Clef.

All this talk of caffeine has given me such an urge to go wander down to the coffee shop round the corner and get a chai latte

Shaun 27-06-2013 03:23 PM

Livia 27-06-2013 03:24 PM

GiRTh 27-06-2013 04:12 PM

No idea. I dont know many board games.

IS the 2nd clue cell 25 or just a prison cell?

GiRTh 27-06-2013 04:17 PM

Is it 'Go to Jail'. Im thinking its the corner points in Monopoly.

GiRTh 27-06-2013 04:18 PM

Shaun 27-06-2013 04:27 PM

Very well done indeed there, not much explanation, "Go" is the first corner and you travel around each corner it's "Jail" then "Free Parking" and finally "Go to Jail". Three points, very well done.

Here is the first clue of your next sequence:

Shaun 28-06-2013 12:41 PM

GiRTh 28-06-2013 12:53 PM
