Ive read they were taken into care a while ago, and not long since allowed back home

A memorial service is also taking place tonight at Edinburgh's St Andrew's Muirhouse Parish Church.

Candles were given out at the door before the service, which was open only to the local community

Can't see how she cannot be charged he didn't walk to Fife on Thursday she must know something about it. Poor little mite.

This really creeps me out. That poor wee boy :(

I'm positive she knows what happened to him.. But did she actually murder him? Did he die by accident and she's tried to cover it up? Or did somebody else kill him and she's covering for them? The whole thing baffles me!

Yeah.. They've not used the word murder. I kind of thought that he'd maybe died through negligence or something and she's tried to hide it :(

The body of a young boy was discovered in woodland
near her former home in Kirkcaldy, Fife, early on Saturday,
following a major search for the missing youngster.
A post-mortem examination is understood to be taking place this evening in Edinburgh.
The discovery is understood to have been made on land surrounding
a house in Kirkcaldy, Fife, which is owned by Mikaeel's aunt Pandeep Kular.
The body was removed from the scene at around 3pm on Saturday afternoon.]

..I just really can't say anything about this until we know the details of what happened at the trial...

I'm confused about this either she was responsible for his death in which case murder or manslaughter should be the charge...but to charge her with neglect ???

The boy is dead so did she kill him or neglect him to the point he starved to death either way it's murder , even manslaughter would be too low a charge ...!!!!

We don't know what she's been charged with yet :(

Meanwhile, there have been several arrests over suspected offensive tweets in relation to Mikaeel's disappearance.

Derbyshire Police arrested a 26-year-old man, while Hampshire Police said a 19-year-old man had been bailed on suspicion of posting a racially offensive comment.

"We are investigating the message to assess whether any criminal offences have been committed," said a spokesman for Hampshire Police
