..I don't understand how it would follow that a mother who loved her children wouldn't be capable of committing suicide though, sometimes someone can be in such a dark place that it's hard for them to see beyond that point and surely by that reasoning then extreme dieting and taking risks with your health when you loved your children would be similar..?..things are just not that easily rationalised when it comes to psychology and why people do things..anyway, there doesn't seem to be any reason to think that Peaches did..this is so, so sad/tragic, her poor family...

Terribly sad if true as she actually had a wonderful life with a loving family, two beautiful boys , health and wealth and fame.

I think she died of natural causes, I don't believe she would have left her kids.
There is a lot of talk about the extreme juice diet she was on for a month at a time .When she herself spoke about her juice diet comment were made about how this could lead to heart failure .

The press and media are having a field day with this,hopefully we will all know the truth soon and the Geldof family can grieve in peace.

I've got to agree. All this "she loved her kids too much to commit suicide" is nonsense. Many people who commit suicide leave their families devestated and astonished. Also, she hasn't ever been the most balanced of girls, so nothing would really surprise me.

I do feel for her family, especially her two little boys. But I hardly recognise this woman that's being portrayed in the press and on here as the same Peaches Geldoff I knew before she died and became a combination of saint and Mother Earth.

I have to admit the point at which youre arguing with an idiot like Hopkins on national telly about how you bring up your own child is a point Id ask myself, what the heck am I doing?

That's my opinion. I thought this thread was for opinions? I said I was sorry for her family and her kids, and I've said nothing about her in death I didn't say in life. Keep your comments to yourself unless you've something to say about the actual subject.

You don't know any more about this case than I do arista. She was an ex-junkie who starved herself skinny and that's just the stuff that made the papers. Until the post mortem, everything is conjecture.
