King Gizzard 30-09-2015 10:08 PM

Didn't I read the other day that our coefficient has actually improved in the last month over Italy's?

King Gizzard 30-09-2015 10:09 PM

This was before tonight as well

Brother Leon 30-09-2015 10:40 PM

Tbf, Italy is only Juve, so I'm not too shocked.

Calderyon 01-10-2015 01:01 PM

Wednesday:

Group A:

PSG and Real Madrid get fairly usual victories against their opponents.
It´s now only a question of who will top the group (as there ever was a question whether one of these two teams wouldn´t)

Group B:

CSKA Moscow get a good win and make this group very interesting. Man Utd gets a 2-1 hard fought victory over Wolfsburg after being down a goal.

Group C:

Galatasaray finally gets a team that they could actually beat and they still manage to screw it by doing 2 own goals. Even though Astana helped them by making an own goal of their own.
Benfica surprises Atletico at away and get a brilliant victory over them. Well on form tonight (Wednesday). This team might be a serious contender in the future.

Group D :

Man City gets a important 2-1 win against Mönchengladbach after being down a goal, while Juventus routinely defeat Sevilla.

Thank god for us and Spurs is all I can say, unbeaten in Europe and ensuring the country isn't a laughing stock

Crimson Dynamo 20-10-2015 08:37 PM

Quite the win for arsenal

Ross. 20-10-2015 08:41 PM

What a win :clap1: :clap1: :clap1:

We really needed that, I hope Aaron is okay though :worry:

Drew. 20-10-2015 08:51 PM

What a ****ing night. Ozil was doing things i've never seen him do before.. was defending like a champ and was vocally ordering everyone about.

Bellerin is on another level. Costa done him over a couple of times but considering the damage costa has done on a regular basis this season with assists and goals he done a pretty good job on him.. and that assist at the end was ridiculous.

As for Koscielny.. best CB in the league status confirmed. Keeping the best striker in the world in his back pocket with ease, makes everything look so easy.

confidence should be sky high right now.. my excitement for football has returned.

Excellent win for Arsenal, i seriously didn´t think they could have done it, but they did. Now they at least have a shot at getting through.

Zenit continues with a clean streak.

Chelsea continues to be disappointing, this time with a 0-0 tie with Kiev.

Other results pretty standard. Wished that Barcelona would slaughter BATE a little more than that though.

MTVN 21-10-2015 06:59 PM

CSKA!!!!!!!!

Black Dagger 21-10-2015 08:41 PM

Imagine not wanting De Bruyne to cum in your mouth.

Brother Leon 21-10-2015 08:46 PM

KDB is ridiculous.

Anyway, I'm so over Rooney. Just please play Martial up front. It's a joke he's being pushed out wide when he is easily the better striker right now. 1-1 isn't a disaster though.

Ryan57 21-10-2015 10:35 PM

Absolutely pathetic football once again. That first half was disgraceful. It's about time Louis and Wayne pissed off into the sunset together.

Makes me lol how he says a draw would be a good result before the match against CSKA. If Moyes had said that he'd of been ripped to shreds. But Louis gets away with it.

72% possession and we create nothing special. A blind XI would create more chances.

Mate no being funny but you have no right to whinge now. I called this a year and a half ago and was criticised by both you and Leon. And you better get use to this mediocrity as it won't be changing when Giggs takes over next either

I think there is a right to moan as I admit I was wrong. Going by what you say, if we started playing swash buckling football from Leicester at the weekend onwards, and we went onto win the title (no chance of either happening of course), you'd have no right to cheer any success under Van Gaal. When of course you would, you'd of just been wrong about Van Gaal.

I actually think we'd play better football under Giggs, tbh. I don't want him to take the job, but I bet we'd actually fashion more chances under him.

It's not exactly hard to fashion more then the 0 chances we are currently creating

I told you Fergie left this team in a state that would set us back 4-5 years
I told you Louis was not the answer with his philosophy nonsense
And im telling you now Giggs is 100% not the answer

Klopp would have been the ideal man in my honest opinion

Brother Leon 27-11-2015 12:43 AM

Yeah. It wasn't the ****show by Moyes that set us back at all. We are in transition...whether United fans like it or not. Deal with it. We finished 7th and 4th the last two seasons ffs. We aren't suddenly going to become world beaters.

Anyway. If the squad Fergie left is so **** then are you going to finally admit that he was working miracles by winning ****ing titles and you shouldn't have been bitching and crying?! It can't work both ways.

Klopp would of been brilliant, he was my first choice, but at the time there was no chance of him leaving Dortmund. Ancelotti is free but his league record is relatively poor. His cup record is top notch, however.

Guardiola would be my pick. He actually plays possession football that creates chances and uses a formation well. Louis constantly plays 4-2-3-1 and doesn't even utilise the formation properly. Our best form last season was playing 4-3-3 yet he decides to use 4-2-3-1 with two full backs that appear to be told to rarely get forward.

Giggs isn't the answer, it'd be terrible to appoint him, but I bet we'd be more entertaining under him.

Nobody is after world beaters. Well, given the stupid amount spent maybe we should. Right now we play pathetic football. We have a manager who deems creating 2-3 chances sufficient. He sells Hernandez and gives that look to Giggs against Brugge after the sitter missed, yet continues with Rooney who has been far worse than anything Hernandez showed.

He's spent a fortune and yet our team has no depth and no outfield world class players really. His Plan B is hoof it to Fellaini.

He talks out of his arse. Last season it was 'philosophy', this season it's 'progress', hopefully next season it's P45.

And **** Leon. I would have taken Fergie not winning the weakest league in years and leaving us with a solid foundation to build on rather then leaving us with the likes of Rio Paddy Evra ****ing Giggs who were all at the end. Worthless pieces of **** like Tony and Ashley and 300 k a week Fatty. Facts are facts the only good thing he did in his last couple of seasons was bring Dave in but lets not also forget he let go the best centre midfielder in world football who would have been the cornerstone of our midfield for the next 10 years so he could bring his love child Scholes in

But hey you supported that decision didn't you? You bloody clown hows's Tom doing mate??

Legend killer 27-11-2015 10:33 AM

I never complained about our short term success with Fergie in his last couple of seasons I complained and rightfully proved that he was ****ing us up long term. Whether you want to admit I was right is up to you

Shaun 27-11-2015 12:10 PM

I like football

MTVN 08-12-2015 08:05 PM

Remember when United topped their CL group under Moyesy

MTVN 08-12-2015 08:15 PM

This United team sure is fearsome, Wolfsburg will have been quaking in their boots at the likes of Borthwick-Jackson and Chris Powell coming off the bench :worry:
