Yes, for the first two weeks. Then she faded in to the background a bit and Ashleigh and Danielle stole the show!

Remember when Marc was constantly immune form eviction.

Daniel. 19-03-2016 01:27 PM

Remember when people thought Marc was a good housemate. Delete it now.

Cal. 19-03-2016 01:28 PM

If they invited you back in the future, would you return to the show?
"100%. Definitely. Of course I would. It's wicked, man. Just throw me into the house. Honest to God, this is how real a person I am - the minute I walked into that house I don't even think about the cameras. They're in your face moving around but you don't even think of them like that. Maybe it's because I've been in there before for two months, I don't know. But personally for me, it just felt like I walked into a house and was sitting with Aisleyne having cigarettes and alcohol - I stole a bit of alcohol! I was so drunk! But I would definitely go back in - it was an experience and I loved it. One day was a bit too short but I'm not really a person who likes rules. I'll break the rules because I can't stand rules. But if they asked me I'd definitely be up for it - why not?"

Daniel. 19-03-2016 01:32 PM

Why would you not want it to be topped? :joker:

Cal. 19-03-2016 01:32 PM

Personally I'd like every series to top the last and get better each year.

Jason. 19-03-2016 01:34 PM

If BB15/16 aired in 2012-2013 and BB13/14 aired in 2014/15 that would've happened

Daniel. 19-03-2016 01:36 PM

Yes, I want a series that comes and snatched my favourite series title, but it won't happen.

An unsettling throwback

They make NO difference

There's no tension when people walk in, instead it's just 'lol hi secret hm!!' (a la Katie Price)
Evictions are a mess, housemates can now run up and down the stairs and see the outside world they shouldn't of been able to see in the original concept.

Let's not be pedantic, there was still an isolated hallway thing blocking off the entrance.

TomC 19-03-2016 10:30 PM

^No there wasn't. In BB1 and BB2 all the HMs went right up to the door and some even went outside.

Cal. 19-03-2016 10:31 PM

There wasn't an isolated exit until BB5 I don't think.

BB1 and 2 just had a door leading outside and 3 and 4 had open plan stairs like Channel 5.

I'm sure there was a little doorway bit that they had to go through
In BB2 it had the eye template reversed on it :suspect:

T* 19-03-2016 10:43 PM

Channel 5 say they'll "relaunch" Big Brother.

Ah I got confused, I thought the bit with the eyes were a separate door to the main white one, but it's just an open doorway bit:

I swear BB4 had an isolated staircase too? It had that white door that automatically slided open to the white staircase or am I imagining that?

You're not imagining it

Wasted on that series tho [emoji174]

Oaker 19-03-2016 11:05 PM

I hope the house this year is cute and not a tacky mess (BB16 :suspect:)</3

Oaker 19-03-2016 11:27 PM

tbh I've really liked every C5 house since CBB13 (apart from BB16's). Sometimes they're a tad OTT but they are cute and usually fit the theme well

Jason. 19-03-2016 11:28 PM

I liked BB14's house even if it did look like a Ikea Scrapyard. But IA. BB16's house was awful. :yuk:

Oaker 19-03-2016 11:31 PM

I don't even get what they were trying to do with BB16's house?

It didn't really have a theme, it didn't match the eye and it just looked bland.

Jason. 19-03-2016 11:33 PM

They were going for a Las Vegas house but I honestly didn't see it.

I did love the circular lounge though. <3

Oaker 19-03-2016 11:39 PM

The round sofa's were cute but they looked awful during evictions because of the red lighting they used :omgno: .

MB. 19-03-2016 11:40 PM

BB16 was Mad Men-themed

I thought that was BB13? Or did I get that the wrong way around?

Oaker 19-03-2016 11:55 PM

BB13 was Vegas themed iirc

zakman440 20-03-2016 12:35 AM

BB16's was 70's themed iirc.

Jason. 20-03-2016 12:37 AM

welp it couldn't be any less 70's.

zakman440 20-03-2016 12:45 AM

(My mistake, it was 60's)

Still, I don't think that the Timebomb house was that bad tbh. It had some nice elements to it like the bathroom and the bedroom. The lounge and the kitchen were quite bland though. I'd say that the UK vs USA house was the better out of the two summer series.

Jason. 20-03-2016 12:53 AM

I liked the kitchen and lounge but didn't like the bedroom and bathroom lol. I agree though, the CBB16 house was nice. I loved it.

The diner kitchen

crazycolaist 21-03-2016 08:39 PM

Cant wait to see whats happenin'

Denver 21-03-2016 08:42 PM

I'd love a house like BB8 but better looking.

I loved the the little things like the oven in the bedroom and bath in the living room.

I really liked the BB16 lounge and bathroom. And garden actually. The kitchen was generic as was the bedroom, and it was overly garish. There wasn't enough creativity in the house IMO.

I loved how on C4 the house layout and shape changed each year, and the design was so wacky and unique each time. Too much luxury now.

I loved CBB16's Kitchen too, it's always the first room I think about whenever I think about CBB16.
