Cool, and as I said I'm perfectly content to be "stupid" for liking a system that was the staple for the show in the first place. If I had such a big issue with it all that time I can't imagine I'd still be watching the show all these years later.

Not that an opinion on a reality show voting format is really a good indicator of intelligence but whatever helps you sleep at night.

I honesty think big brother should actually look at the housemates social media before putting them in, if BB fans can do it then so can the producers. I dislike him because of his racist/homophobic tweets and I don't care if it wasn't made in the BB house he's still a ignorant racist and homophobic person.

And that's absolutely fine. You are not obliged to prefer vote to evict, and I'm envious that you've been given the system that you prefer...but I still think it's a counterproductive one and that it's stupid to support it because it damages the show. It has absolutely nothing to do with anyone's intelligence either, I think the act of supporting vote to evict itself is stupid, but it doesn't make someone themselves a stupid person. There is a difference.

I hope if and when he does say something racist/homophobic/bigoted he's removed immediately instead of given a "if you repeat this sort of language again, Big Brother will have no choice but to remove you" formal warning

I honestly doubt Helen's warnings were for bigoted remarks though because I really think they would've shown them given how badly she came across anyway. I have no doubts her unaired warnings were just her being reprimanded for the same thing she was in her aired warnings (bullying and name-calling)

And why should he? Emily was removed for using a racially offensive term in a non-malicious way and there was no outside evidence to show that she was a racist person whereas there is with him.

I came to the thread and found what others had found quite grim and twatty. The only post of his I have found offensive personally was the down syndrome comment as I have a relative with downs and find him using that as an insult quite disgusting.
